Syn, the sticks do sit a big higher than standard about 1/4" with this mounting. A few customers have used washers between the stick and the case to lower it to a more “normal” height. I designed a plexi spacer that I will be offering as an addon to the case that eliminates the need to use washers/nuts to lower it creating a more stable foundation for the joysticks. to mount flat against. I think they will be about $1.95. I just have to verify the pricing.
I will have 1/4" versions for the Panzer Fight Stick and 3/16" versions for the Panzer Fight Stick Wide Body (this accounts for the additional deck height of the 1/16" plexi overlay.
New for March! Paradise Arcade shop has sent me a number of thier Universal Adapter Plates. I like to call them Paradise Plates - The Multi Joystick Mounting Solution! For some reason, it feels more catchy
They are great and I have them in stock ready to ship!
Additionally, I have some nice 3/16" Plexi Spacers for JLF Mounting Brackets available. These are perfect dropping the height of the lever in your Panzer Fight Stick, or other flush mounted JLF setup.
This is one color scheme that’s almost close to home. It looks like it needs some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tournament Fighters Art! www.jasenscustoms.com
I just got my Panzer case today. What a thing of beauty! Gloss white top with white sandtex bottom in 6-button Noir. Pics are just a few posts before this. I have some unique plans for this case. I can’t wait to get started. Time to start a parts list and budget everything out. Thank you, Jasen!
Awesome! Looking forward to to seeing it. Let me know when its time to order parts, I’ll extend the 5% discount to you for getting a PFS like I do everyone else.
@butteroj - I think that red and white combo would look bad ass in reverse. Fire engine top with sandtex white bottom. The sandtex has a really nice texture and it seems like it would help it to not slide off of your lap a bit too. It’s not as “pure” as the signal white gloss but not “bone” colored. Somewhere in between white and off-white.
BMCK’s Panzer Fight Stick (or TankStick as he calls it since I had to change the name) is getting a facelift. The new protection on the wrap art is sick and durable. Very arcade-like.
