that’s expensive, IMO for it not already being modded.

Yeah thats sounds a bit high…

It would only be worth that much if the Happ parts were already installed. My suggestion is to install the Happs yourself first, then it’ll be good to go at that price.

I fail to see how $90 shipped for something that works on PS2 and XBOX, with the extra parts that cost close to $30 is expensive when others are selling standard Happ custom sticks for $110 or more for ONE system.

Painted Pale: if you can somehow tell me how posting how my stick is expensive for $90 shipped for two systems, and yours for $110 for one system is not expensive, I’d love to hear it. If it has to do with the labor of the installation, remember again, this is WITH shipping. It costs at least $15-20 to ship this thing USPS, not including the cost of the box.

Because your’s is a SFAC stick. Most multi system sticks suck ass when it comes to converters all thanks to the crappy PCBs inside. His on the other hand is a finely crafted stick with many obvious hours of effort that have went into it. Not only does it have top of the range parts inside, I’m guessing it also has A PSOne PCB which is rated as the best quality.

PCB dont mean sh*t… as long as the microswitches can work? aww mang $90 bux for 2? with happ parts? awww dang… i shoulda waited… awww…

Okay then, believe what you want, I’ll see you at Evo when your crying about your stick lagging…

Eh? THis comment makes no sense. WHat are you converting from the Street Fighter stick? It has an XBox and PS2 plug, no converters needed. There is no need for ANY converter. And lag? There isn’t any. There’s one PCB. Simple as that. Top range of parts? I posted this included Happ parts.

If you don’t know about the stick, don’t post about it. I recall the Wolfes using the stick ( I think as stock) and Alex Wolfe WON EVO 2k6 for Hyper Street Fighter II on it.

Multisystem sticks and needing converters for them? That makes absolutely NO sense.

And…the stick has been SOLD, thanks everyone!

just for reference the xbox (and sometimes ps2) portshave been known to stop working
also the sfac stick has trouble with converters =\

buttonmash: Why would you even need a converter, though? What’s the point? The port is there. There is a small run that has a problem with the ports not working, but it’s less than 1% of a 1,000 number run. The first 20,000 units have no issues.

EDIT: if you mean USB or PC converters, then yes, it does have an issue with those.

I think he means PSX-to-Dreamcast converters.

True Grave: Yeah, my bad, it’s sold anyway…

I was just saying price is a little high because you can pick up an SFAC stick at EB,or ebay, for about $30-$35 and HAPP parts (unless you order straight from the HAPP website) are only going to cost you around $30…so all in all $60-$70(tops)

And yes Custom sticks are more expensive…but They are labor intensive and costly, and of course put together for your convinience…so you get your moneys worth…And mine is $110 shipped…not plus shipping(just like yours is)

Also a friend of mine uses a SFAC stick and the ps2 half of the pcb went out on him in the middle of the game…(xbox half still works)…so do you really want that to happen during a tournament?..

well anyways…I guess Preference is what matters:wgrin:(sorry if I come off sounding rude)

Nope. They go for decent money on eBay. $30-35??? Basically you are talking $70 tops WITHOUT shipping. It costs around $20 to mail this thing anyway, and the SF stick does NOT go for $30-35 on eBay. I sell them for $59.99 in my eBay store WITHOUT the boxes all the time. You can’t get these at EBGames anymore unless you find a store that kept them. They have been out of production for a very long time.

You mean yours and mine INCLUDE shipping, but mine is $20 cheaper, and for an extra system.

Happens with 1% of the 1,000 stick second production run. Those can be fixed and replaced. All joysticks have issues eventually to be honest. I can tell you plenty of customized sticks I’ve used falter eventually.

No worries about sound rude, but you are misinformed about how much this arcade stick goes for, that is for sure.

demon dash: Eh? Yeah, $80 without the Happ parts w/out shipping, that’s what they are selling for new nowadays. That one does not include any of them. This thread does need to die, the thing is sold!

It isn’t a Dreamtr thread without drama!
