I have a modded agetec for playstation and dreamcast no converters needed. just a switch to switch between the systems. the ps pcb also works with converters for pc and xbox (I have a pc and xbox converters for ps that I use to play). ok now on the look of the stick. what you see in the pic is what you get. But I will tell you the sides you can feel and see (up close) that it’s been cover up since I used to have L1, L2 on one side, Start and Select on the other side. I just filled four of the hole and made new the start/select in front of the stick. but you can’t see it unless you’re look up close. lexan could use little more sanding on the side. but I’m done with the stick.
specs:
sanwa jlf with 5 pin connector
sanwa buttons
seimitsu button (pk-15 I believe, the see through one) as start/select
quick disconnect.
barrier strips
lexan top cover (I just left it white but you can put whatever art you want on there.)
battop, and an extra blue button.
oct gate.
dualshock ps pcb
agetec pcb
what’s the lowered price? I’m thinking of ordering two Agetechs near-mint for 100$ as a package and installing PS pcbs myself, but with good sanwa parts in there, I could bite.
$130 is the lowered price. the first post was edited when I lowered it. well you do the math to see if it’s worth it. personally I think buying is this a better deal. let’s check on the direction that you’re heading shall we?
$100 for two agetecs so…
$50 for one
~$50 for sanwa without shipping (depends on where you get it) for 8 buttons and stick
$ 5-10 for ps pcb if you can find one if you don’t have one lying around
money for lexan
money for the switch
money for paint
money for quick disconnect if you use it which I did
money for barrier strips if you use it
misc equipment if you don’t have them already.
and the worse part is the amount of time you spend on doing it. not to mention time to research this shit if you don’t know how to do it.
how much is your time worth to you? is it worth it for you to do it? do you want to spend that much time doing it or spend a lot of energy to do it? if yes, then don’t buy the stick.
I would buy it myself if I didn’t have other sticks. that and the fact that i’m less interested in gaming nowadays so it just sits there and collects dust. not to mention this is a dual stick for ps and DC that you don’t see on sale at all. the pcb is first party with the ps working for other converters. so if you have a DC and ps, looking for a stick. I’d buy this. and this is not because I’m selling it but that’s what I think. other customs cost around the same price range including mods sticks and those are just for playstations. of course my biggest pet peeves is people who spend $80 for namco. or spend shit loads on hrap just to mod it with sanwa parts. sorry. /rant.
yeah it’s still for sale. I replied your PM a while ago. it’s still the same. Lowest is $120 without shipping you can pick it up since you’re in near ffa. I’m near camelot. as shitty as that place I’m sure you i’ve been there judging that you’re from socal.
EDIT: the reason that’s the lowest I’ll go is because of the reason I listed above if you were going to do it yourself. the other reason, yeah this stick might not be as nice as true customs but I spent shitloads of time working on this. the work was hard because I was limited to tools (all I have to work with is a power drill) and to work on the lexan I had to cut everything by hand. If you’ve done that before you’d know how much work it takes to do that and how hard it is. and that’s only part of it. so for me to sale at anything less is not worth it considering that if you did this:
copied and paste from top.

this stick is not perfect. that’s why I try to descibe the stick as detail as possible beecause I don’t want people buying something that they expect it to be perfect.
