It’s unbelievable to me, but I was at a really small tourney in Scranton, PA with non-HD CRTs that lagged VERY noticeably. I had no idea that could happen but apparently there are really awful CRTs out there.
I’m gonna keep this short and simple:
Everyone that I played with knows I had a blast with them. This was a very well-run tourney that had some great competition, especially in 3rd Strike. Mike, Keits, James: you guys did an awesome job keeping shit on lock. 
There is one specific shout-out that I have to give, though – I told him I would, and I am a man of my word:
ShinjiGohan: You…hooked…it…up. Period. Seriously, bro, you put a whole new twist on the tourney with your STHD arcade set up. The fact that you A. made that entire set up yourself and B. were kind enough to drag that beast all the way to the tourney really says a lot about you, bro. Personally, I thought your STHD casuals were the funnest part of the day, and that’s saying something. As far as I’m concerned, you get the MVP award for that event! :tup::tup:
Well, that’s it for me, guys. I genuinely do hope I get to see you before I leave, if I leave. Guess we just have to see how things go…

Shitty converters? I’ve never seen a CRT lag to this day…must be something really obscure if that happened…
Very fun tourney, extremely worth the trip. The HDR competition was all around good from every person I played, and I learned quite a bit too! Glad “Life Pay Plus” was able to sponsor team Des Moines, even though half of team Des Moines is for some reason so obsessed with Primal Rage that he begs for a new copy of the game for not only his birthdays but Christmas too. Greedy bastard. I had a ton of fun meeting everybody and that’s the main reason I go to these, nothing like a huge gathering of people who has the same interests as me.
Hey man I wish you the best if you do decide to join. If not then I wish you the best at coming to Iowa sometime

One option could’ve been instead of converters the 360/PS3 was ran on coax or another form of low quality video cables.

Mario, where do you come up with your shit, bro!!! You say most randomly concise things I’ve ever read/heard in my life!!! And, no: it wasn’t about the sax. Had it been, there would have been fisticuffs and bloodshed. NO ONE fucks with the synthesizer sax man, not on my watch.
Ok, so I finally found out who stole my laptop. A guy named Percio aka Fenix87 on SRK. He lives in Chicago, and is friends with another guy who posts here, bombchivo.
Basically, I not only need advice as to how to handle said situation, but I also wanted to let everyone else know a little about him.
He doesn’t give a shit about the community.
This isn’t the first time he’s tried to pull something like this.
He’s even tried to steal from his own friends.
If anybody is a tournament organizer, and sees this name/tag, put an auto/perma ban on him. Don’t think twice about it, cuz he probably won’t think twice about stealing your shit either.
If anybody happens to be in the area, or just wants to post/flame, find the Chicago thread, and maybe a little pressure will back him into enough of a corner where he’ll confess and give it up, with little to no problem.
Yes, I will alert authorities, but if need be, I will also be happy to jack him in the face. And he’s even said he won’t give it back, so if I have to steal it back, at least I have the proof that it belongs to me/my friend in the first place.
I just hope you’re absolutely sure and have some good proof before posting this stuff all over SRK (not saying he’s innocent or guilty)
