LOL what? CRTS aren’t going to have lag…remember when you said in that other thread “your” TV doesn’t lag? Unless you have played this thing offline and in arcade 239239823 times, it’s not noticeable immediately. 2D gaming is very weird with these types of TV sets.

I’m telling you, don’t use ANY LCD on STHD, there’s too many issues with having to find the “right” TV without latency. You can’t tell unless you test thoroughly, and there is no proper TV settings that tell you this. Response time and input lag are not the same thing. CRT Component Video TV or Samsung CRT HDTVs with the HDTV settings in the options menu correct FTW.

Samsung LCDs are “supposed” to be the best of the HDTVs, but why would you risk it?

That Q Oro guy I dunno about that loss but whatever hes got Iggy in his av so hes cool. That must have been the wierdest loss I ever took in 3s. The guy didn’ t really do anything and missed ALL of his Oro combos and still won i was like ooooooook. That means my game done got bad. lolz. But yeah peace out

Why are you even bothering to post this if you didnt even play on it or even go to the tourny.

There was one CRT that felt like shit probably because of how fuzzy and shitty it was. The other one which we used more later was fine. Besides 2, everyone else felt the screen was fine.

BTW: I know what input lag is. No need to lecture me on shit.

I’m bothering to post on it because in another thread you RESPONDED to my posting about how there is no lag on your TV as if it was the all end to the HDR does not lag on HDTVs because it doesn’t lag on yours.

I don’t “need” to attend to know there is no lag on CRT TVs. That input lag link was not intended for anyone in particular, it’s just so people are educated about what it is because not everyone knows. No one was attempting to “lecture” you on anything.

Easiest thing is not to use HDTVs or LCDs in any tournament. Simplifies everything, no has excuses, the end, but don’t start snapping at me because I made a comment about CRTs. The game does not “feel like shit” or “plays different” when it is fuzzy, that’s a lag issue, and that’s what you insinuated.
