Since the sad, sad death of Stolen Chicken’s Takedown Tuesday in San Leandro, I have been searching for a place to hang with fellow Street Fighter, Ultimate Marvel, etc players for casuals and tourneys. So far… NOTHING??? And since I don’t have a car my travels are limited (It’s almost better this way, have you seen gas prices these days?? Up the ass expensive!!)
Anyway, does anyone know of any free/non-free tourneys in the bay area that a brotha can get to? Scratch that, does anyone know of any free/non-free tourneys in the day area that WE ALL can get to? Cause I’m sure that I am not the only one searching for spots to hang and game.
Hey, man. I’m in the same boat. Sadly, I missed the days of “Stolen Chicken’s Takedown Tuesday” (though that sounds hilariously awesome lol), but I’m also on a mission to find other people/places to play Ultra with/at. I live in Oakland, myself. I just bought a new stick from a guy on Craigslist who told me there was an SF scene out towards San Leandro to Fremont area, but now I’m wondering if that’s no longer the case
