Frisky Business is a fighting game group dedicated to bringing fighting game enthusiasts together to participate in sessions and/or tournaments. Currently we hold our events at Classic Game Junkie (111 S. Easton Road, Glenside, PA). The events will be on either Thursday, Friday, or Saturday between 5:00 pm and 10:00 PM on a weekly basis.
Venue fee at Classic Game Junkie - $5
**Next Frisky Business event -
Thursday, September 5th from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. There will be an Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 Tournament. Tournament entry fee - $10. Pot Bonus - $70.
UMvC 3 and SSF4: AE 2012 will be played on Xbox 360. The rules set for the tournament are 3 out of 5, double elimination.
There will be casual setups for:
Super Street Fighter 4 AE: 2012
Injustice: Gods Among Us
Tekken Tag Tournament 2
King of Fighters XIII
Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 **
We rotate the games at our events.
Example:
Week 1 - UMvC3 and KOF 13 tourney. Casuals available for AE, Injustice, TT2, KOF 13 and UMvC3.
Week 2 - AE and Skullgirls tourney. Casuals for UMvC3, Guilty Gear, Skullgirls, SSB Melee, and DOA5: Ultimate.
Week 3 - UMvC3 and Injustice tourney. Casuals for UMvC3, TT2, Persona 4 Arena, AE.
There are many forms of public transportation that will get you to Classic Game Junkie. There is a Septa train and bus stop within a minute of the store.
We welcome players of all levels and of all fighting games to join our events. We encourage players to bring their own controllers and be respectful of others belongings.
