Well I’m sure you’ll be able to find someone locally that plays. You should try Xanadu for tourneys. Are you good or lookin to get better?
i would consider myself decent in MK9 (just purchased a Hitbox though, so it’s gonna be a while until i adapt to it) but i have yet to find decent competition in my area (College Park). Have you yourself participated in the Xanadu scene? and if you have, have you seen any other MK9 players?
I’ve only had a chance to do one monthly due to transpo, but hopefully will be able to find reliable transpo this year. I’ve only heard of them running MK games, but I think the community in general is on the skinny side. But like Kevin Costner says, “If you build it, they will come.” That’s kinda my approach to it. And even though our scene is small and in need of expansion to keep going, we always welcome new people and different personalities. We mainly play UMVC, AE, a little KOF 13, and a few people play anime games. So I’m sure you can find someone who is willing to learn or already plays MK.

Hey folks. I’m looking to get in on any of this that I can. I love me some Mahvel. Pad player on 360. I live just off of the Union Station Metro stop, and take the Metro everywhere (no car access). I want to get in on some of this! What’s going on and when!?
