Hello folks Dakkon here. I have some big news and this all comes from the combined decision of all three organizers.
I am sad to say at this time the tournaments schedules for January the 27th is cancelled. There are no plans to reschedule at this time. The event will still happen just as a casual only event.
I am also sad to say that the stream will no longer be handled by superpolypixel.com .For the time being we will not be streaming but look into options to restore streaming very shortly. Moving forward we will keep everyone informed if and when we start streaming again.
Marcus and SuperPolyPixel.com will continue to stream our events. Tournaments are on hold until further notice. For more information visit our facebook page
Hey guys Bryan here just reposting the Facebook stuff for people not paying attention to it.
** Hey guys. Just wanted to make some announcements. As many of you have already heard, Friday Night Encounters has now become a weekly event. Also, starting on February 8th, Jeremy Jimenez will be starting up Wednesday night sessions at The Encounter. He will be holding casuals and free tournaments. More details on that will be forthcoming soon.**
Also, Jaleel from Focusattack.com came out last night to see what we are all about. Focusattack.com is a website you can go to for arcade stick parts and fighting game related merchandise. In the future, he said he could provide prizes for tournaments such as gift ceriticates and parts. I am sure this will be the start of a great partnership with Focus Attack.
**Tournament news!!! You will now be able to sign up for tournaments at the front counter. What this means for all of you is that you will now be able to pay for your tournament entry with cash, credit, or debit. **
Also, we wanted to let all of you know that aside from the $2 venue fee, 100% of the entry fee will be going towards the prize payout. The payout will remain the same at 70/20/10.
After the results of the poll are announced we will be able to give a date for our next tournament.
Please hit the Facebook page to vote on which type of payment you would prefer
Yes. We are on for this Friday and every Friday thereafter. We will also be doing Wednesday night sessions starting 2/8 headed up by Jeremy (Jermburn).
Do you only play SF4 and MvC3 I saw in the forum that people were talking about BlazBlue and other games so I was just wondering if you could tell me all the games that you stream/play whichever.
