Which is stupid because, in the end, there was no one else in line and I could’ve just showed up at opening time in order to get my system.
I went to Fanime last year and had a blast. FLOW was awesome. I’m not sure if I can go this year because of finances. But if I’m able to go, I might cosplay since I have a silly idea that I’ve been thinking about for a while.
Talking about JRPGs, DBZ Super Saiya Densetsu was awesome. It had great music, nice graphics, and the battle animations were really cool. It’s a card and turn based rpg, which will give you random cards. Each had a value from 1 to 7 plus the Z which is the best one. There are regular attacks, super attacks, charge attacks, ki attacks, etc. The bad thing is that it’s a Super Famicom game, so outside of emulation you can’t really get it anywhere.

Also, since I’m talking about rare Japanese games, everyone should try Umihara Kawase. It’s like Bionic Commando but with the hook mechanics only. It’s more of a puzzle platformer type game.

This is the DS version, which includes the original Super Famicom game and the PS1 sequel. The PSP version is supposedly too glitchy. But, the “PC” version is good too. I want to get the game, but it’s like $60 to import. I’ll wait until I get enough money for it. But I still recommend people to play the PC trial.

@VII alright cool awesome, any controllers i need to bring, cept i only got my Stick and 4 wireless controllers.
@Aria Dissidia 2 is pretty fun, but not that different except for the Assists i never use. The newer Chars in the game are cheap. Tifa was overdone with her body and stuffCOUGHCOUGHCOUGH. Lightning is cheap with her Paradigm shifts switching from melee to spell spam to healing bravery. Vaan can use so many moves. And thats all the new chars i used so far, i think there are like 3 more new chars. So along with the 22 Char cast that Transfers over from Dissidia 1, we only get like 6 new chars. ._. Another hundred hours to sink in for a FF game. WEEEEEEEE. Also Story mode is alot better, We get to roam around freeworld now

As for greatest JRPG ever made I would say its Seiken Densetsu 3 also known unofficially as Secret of Mana 2 never released in the states but the game was fan translated and played well over…9000 TIMES!!! (more like a trillion times) But seriously the SNES game was incredibly ahead of its time. With 6 different endings depending on the leader (you only choose 2 characters along with the leader out of the 6), 2 job advancements for each character, awesome “limit breaks,” great character design, and really really really good Sound Track loved every second of it.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking: the combos are great, but there’s like no pressure since they seem to be just saving assists for combos.
I notice a lot of Cammy players who made the switch to Marvel seem to mesh well with Magneto, makes me wonder…

@Aria well as crazy as it sounds, it’s pretty much the same but with assists and a freeworld roaming, which leads back to the boardgame type of world. Exdeath trick still works but he got smarter. Which reminds me, i gotta play Lord of Arcana.
