you should have said something sooner. i already bought a hrap3 and gutted my TE and replaced the insides with a 360 HRAP PCB.
all this interest in TE sticks got me thinking. if i can get enough people to show up for a 16 player SSF4 tournament then I could have PS3 TE sticks for the top two finishers. the finals would be for bragging rights since both players would get new TE sticks. i have the money to rent the volunteer fire hall where i live and set-ups so i wouldn’t have an entry fee. if a free tournament with a chance at winning a TE stick just by making it to the finals sounds like something any of you would be interested in let me know. if interest is there i could set something up in September that way everyone could get in some good competition a month before Season’s Beatings: Redemption.
So I’m watching Magnetro’s Variable Atmosphere 2 combo video explanations. I feel like I’m watching an advanced physics and programming lesson rolled into one. There’s a lot of shit that I couldn’t even fathom in this.
There really isn’t a need to cap it at 16, 32 maybe, but not 16, it’s unlikely we’ll get that many, but with my luck, it’ll be the one time we get more than that and I’m the 17th person to show up. But yeah, I’m interested, I’m tired of not having a stick.

As for the 5 on 5, I told him that it will be me Adam Nam TJ and either Aaron or RJ.The tournament will be everyone plays everyone round robin style. How much would you guys want to put on this thing? I was thinking we do 10 or 20 per person. Anyone have any thoughts?
Yeah I e-mailed Dandy J and he pre-reg’d me. Phew! As far as the 5 vs 5, I’m assuming this will happen after the main tourney. If so, I say whoever places higher in the main tourney (me or RJ) should play on the team. I think that would be a better indicator of how we would do in the 5 vs 5 than us playing each other. What do you guys think? I vote $15 a person.

BlazBlue, Garou, KOF98UM, and maybe other stuff (TvC, Tekken) at my place tomorrow. We’ll have 2 TV’s at least. If Bobby can bring a 3rd or people can bring them we can get this going with multiple TV’s and setups with 3-4 different games going.
So far its Butters, Rock Steady, Herb, Odell, and Dice. Anyone else let me know ASAP. Tyson is a maybe.
