Hakans double focus into ultra2, or even jumping MP(MK?) in ultra 2 is so pretty. Also his standing HK is his best transportation, kinda shimmys across the stage

Dudley’s cross counter is really good. I thought anything that hits twice such as Juri’s pinwheel would break through it, but it doesn’t.
If I have you in the corner and I land an ex cross counter I get a free ultra! If I land a jab against an air opponent, I can reset into ultra… I need to test it out against someone to verify. But you recover in the air then fall into a full ultra before you land. I also read that you can combo a crouching fierce into a stand roundhouse for silly damage.

Guess what Jake? He had air reset super/ultra in 3s too! :arazz: That’s why I told you try to duck-straight for reset after a juggle because I figured you could do it in this too. Probably not with duck-straight but at least with his jab.
My plan to turn in a really good paper 2 days late than a shitty paper on time worked, I got a better grade. 3 more finals for me and 2 of them will be done tonight so if people want to play stuff let me know. I’ll still be studying/typing/writing but I’ll have a bit of time.
It doesn’t work like that, his juggle properties are different than they were for 3S. During combos, or at least so far, any move that knocks an opponent in the air cannot be followed up with by a regular move, it has to be a special move. This is why you always see people doing weak dp into fierce dp, or whatever corner combo into dp or ultra or another special move. I’m going to tinker with delayed punishes after a focus, but I doubt it’ll lead to much. The only set up for this is just the anti air jab into immediate ultra

Nate, I found a card that I need to add to my deck, it is called a thorn elemental, it is a 7/7 for 7 that I can have deal damage to the player instead of to a blocking creature. If I can also find an artifact or green card that gives haste, my deck will be competent!

Stupid finals, wish I could have shown up. Stephone, Odell, and David came over around 12-1 last night and played for a bit. Cody does a shit ton of damage, especially to Ibuki and Guy. And his slide is short and cancellable or some shit.

Guys I just bought a TE stick. The new type S one for Super SF. After an hour of playing with it the RT went out (HK button). I unplugged it then plugged it back in and it works fine. Is this a common problem with TE sticks? I’m pretty pissed off, these things are expensive.
Maaaaaaaaaannnn fuck SSF4. Shit is ruining my sleeping hours. I was up til almost 3am playing that crack last night. FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. Hakan, Adon and Makoto are a ton of fun. Hakan absolutely sucks against people with fast recovery FBs (Guile, Deejay), not even EX Oil will save him. Adon’s pokes are fucking awesome. I suck at his combos though. :lol: Makoto is awesome to me so far. Dunno why people say she’s trash? I didnt play her in 3s some I can’t make a comparison though.
I just played one of the best flash games ever. It’s Super Mario Brothers 1, and it allows you to use Link, Samus, Simon Belmont, Megaman, Mario or that dude from Contra. If you’re a fan of the old NES shit then you gotta check it out LOL:

Yeah, Roundhouse going out in the sticks is common in both SE and TE. I haven’t heard of it happening in HORI sticks so maybe this is the flaw in Mad Katz sticks besides the shitty buttons in the SE’s.
Makoto isn’t awful but she’s not great either. Definitely not as powerful as her 3s self. Or dominant at least.
Funny, I’ll be bringing Deejay and Ibuki with me, and Nate has Deejay at his place and… shit this is getting out of hand: 3 Guiles, 3 Deejays, 3 Dudleys, 3 Codys, 3 Juris… then we have 2’s of others. We’re gonna be like Canada-lite, cause they all played Boxer.
I’ll be there at around 5, show up whenever, I think the rule is 7, but hell if they seem to care.
