Adam lost to Starnab, who is an amazing fei long player. He never missed his rushes at all, never used chicken wing to get close, his poke game was the most solid thing ever. He also lost to Chris Hu.
I lost to wolfkrone for the trillionith time, then I beat Choco in losers then lost to Buddah Force, a fairly solid seth from Canada. I almost beat Daigo in a twenty dollar money match. Each round came down the last hit. I want to thank TJ for teaching me both the ryu and the blanka match. I also throttled people in casuals all day.
Way to go Nate! We need to play it at some point.

Me, Stephone, and David found the UMK3 room. It happened to be 2 doors down from our hotel room 
we went and chilled with them for a minute and got to see Shock do a face plant onto his bed O_o Then Saturday we ended up over at Kurasa’s place chillin with Javier from Tekko and some other people and learned the legend of JOEY CRACK. I even played SF4 to remind myself why I don’t play it. Kurasa isn’t takin anyone’s money any time soon in that game. He said he’d give 10:1 odds in TvC tho.
Played some XvSF with Combofiend, he destroyed me but said my Wolverine wasn’t too bad. Then I played a runaway storm and was annoyed as hell. That bitch… :rolleyes:

By the time I played a real match in BB (My first 2 or 3 opponents were DQ’ed) I didn’t even care to play anymore. I tried to get a drink, they called me back to fight… no one. I wanted to see a match of UMK3 finals, I got called to fight… no one. When I sat down to play I just mashed buttons and walked away.

If I wasn’t gonna get back into tuning I’d definitely buy a cab because I really don’t want to play shit on console anymore. Astrocity cabs are too amazing and UMK3 is awesome.

I’m exaggerating a bit due to my views being somewhat jaded now by the whole stick fiasco (my wallet vs. SBR is an 0-10 matchup for my wallet :sad: ). I ended up playing the in-production game that Mike Z brought. It was pretty interesting actually.
At any rate, I did have fun, but I think the event has outgrown the venue. Super just takes too long to run, tourney didn’t end until like, midnight. Feels like it’s getting to the point where major tournaments for SSF4 will have to be totally separate events from tourneys for everything else in order to keep things running in a somewhat timely manner. Either that or get a super (lol pun) large venue and just cordon off half of the place for SSF4.
