Hey Guys,
I’m an avid SF4ae player and new to the forum, so please bear with me if i do/say something that’s not quite in tune with y’all.
Just recently i started messing round with Frame Data and found it rather difficult to find links and blockstrings … not because is hard, but because the tables are so dam long, and you could be missing some nice ones.
So i created this little site www.federicojacobi.com/framedata to help with that.
It will give you links and blockstrings automatically based on frame data.
It needs a lot of improvement and has plenty of bugs, not all the frame data is in, but i figured I could get some nice feedback from the fighting game community. It is on Github as a project if you guys can add csvs with frame data or fix the code.
I hope it helps a lot of people improve their game.
Please give me your thoughts. I intend to add PvP comparisons and punishes soon, but it all depends on feedback.
Your site doesn’t work for me, but that might be cuz my VPN has run out and China hates you.
I like the sound of the project and already I have a question. How easy would it be to extend this to other games?
Did the site open but had no info or it didnt open at all?
If it had no info, maybe I need to make it more obvious how to use it … i admit that it is kind of odd.
It can be extended to whatever game uses the startup/active/recover/onhit/onguard mechanic … while i am a SF4 player i can see how this would be usable in UMVC3 or Injustice … etc…
As long as you have the framedata in a CSV format its all good.
Nothing shows up at all, at the link or the main domain either. Like I said, I’m in China, they block a lot of things seemingly randomly so your site may just be unlucky in that regard. If the site is still working for you then that’ll be the problem.
Once my VPN is renewed I will check it out.
Thanks for your contribution
If you are technically inclined, you can install it on your own server … https://github.com/federicojacobi/framedata-analyzer
