And it does not make it okay that he is hypothetically attributing it to somebody else.
And it’s not just the usual political smearing between parties. Fox News is (ostensibly) not in the business of advocating for any one political party. It is (ostensibly) a credible news organization–in fact, the highest profile one on cable television.
And (for the thousandth time) it doesn’t matter if the other networks have done the same or similar shit. In fact, that makes it worse, because it lowers our already dismal current standards of journalistic integrity. It certainly doesn’t make the criticisms against Fox News any less valid or true.
