it was snowing, and some sleet/hail type stuff. maybe that is icing. it’s still snowing today. in fact both Allen County (Fort Wayne) and Adams County (Decatur where i live) are considered level 1 which means emergency vehicles only are supposed to be on the road, and if you impede a highway worker on the road in any way you get fined and/or arrested. i get to stay home from training today
yeah assuming the weather clears up like it’s supposed to i’m pretty psyched about coming down this Saturday. i guess so far we have 3, and i’m still trying to convince Gary to come along.
Alright, I’ve been lurking for awhile. Since SFIV, I’ve been pretty enthusiastic about fighting games, but specifically SFIV and SSFIV. I want to take my game to the next level and now I find out there is a Fort Wayne and Indy community AND some sort of gaming association at IPFW where I’m attending? Happy time! I will update my profile with some info and start participating on the forums. My friend told me about a tournament coming up in Indy on the 19th, which I believe we’re going to try and attend. Hopefully meet some of you local guys. And how can I find out more information on this IPFW group?

i’m Brent and i live somewhat near you. i’m just north in Decatur. i actually come down to Bluffton (rarely) to eat at Hardee’s or grab a Tyeger’s Pizza.
like the other Michael said, we’re in the works on getting an IPFW gaming club started. it’s gonna be a bit still, but it will happen.
and yeah there is an Indy tourney on the 19th that several of us will be hitting. in fact there is a smaller one this Saturday the 5th too. the one this weekend starts late, like 5pm or 6pm, and it’s just SSF4 and 3S. the event on the 19th will be way larger cuz it will have all sorts of out of state folks, even one Canadian, and lots of different games to play.

Hey guys, just found out that I have a sat. class from 9 Am to noon until spring break, then I go to Europe for a week.

But, I’ll be able to drive to the tourney this weekend, but idk if I’ll be able to go to many more with you guys because of this new development.

Yeah I wouldn’t mind getting there like 45 minutes early or thereabouts, but I guess the time of departure will depend on how fast you plan on driving hehe, so I’m not sure how long the drive will be cause I’m used to driving under…slower conditions.
I think I’m going to try to hook up with some London players while I’m over in London. If I can go, apperently, i was supposed to pay in December, never knew though.
Hey you guys need to come visit SC sometime. There are some guys that are really good down here and I think (especially Gary) they will give you a run for your money. Got some dudes who are wicked good on the MVC2 and one who is a seriously good Akuma player on 4.
