Yo thanks to good ole Josh for giving me some Blazblue matches. Before you get all excited about “how much damage you were doing” and “how the gaps not as big as you thought” I’m gonna just point out that you did about as good against me in BB as I did against Gary in SSF4.

Ryan did, but not really. In the end we found out it was all staged. Spencer was paying Ryan the $350 to buy a monitor or something so he lost and paid him the money. Even though it was fun testing out a stream and doing it I feel bad now in hindsight to anyone else who tuned in and got caught up in the hype. It was fun while we thought it was real though. :tup:
Mike - how was your Arcana Heart experience? Are you still stoked for AH3? Be nice to folks. You know it sucks if you have no one to play with in BBCS. Josh actually gave you someone to play against and gave you a break from the all Street Fighter party. I would expect folks around here to hate me if they finally stepped up to play some ST with me and I just talked terrible shit to them for it. I personally would feel guilty anyway but that’s just me. Also congrats on being part of the victorious KOF team. Haha. :party:
Don’t feel bad Brent, was a fun time unless you lost money lol…you know who I’m talking about. I got kicked from the chat before SSF4 for some reason but other than that, the stream worked great. You’ll have to tell me how you did it because its definitely something that I want to look into. I recently upgraded my internet so I have significantly more bandwidth to do something like that in the future.
Indy, we just did it from our phones. And the Money match was NOT staged. We played every match for real, it’s just if I won, he’d get his and my money, and I’d still get the TV. It was basically a way for him to be remembered before he left to the Navy. We didn’t think it would get as big as it did, but we were loving every minute of it. I’m also really good at acting because He thought I was seriously pissed when I slammed the stick (even though I told him that’s what I would do if I lost).
I’ll admit that I threw 3s because I wanted it to go to ssf4 (I wanted max hype). But I was seriously impressed with how well he did as T.Hawk. I was also really impressed with my X-Ism Charlie in Alpha, his super is no fucking joke. I’d like to thank everyone who tuned in and made the event possible. It was a lot of fun, and it will be lonely in Auburn w/o Ryan.
Man these smart phones are serious business…I may need to invest in one when I get my next upgrade.
Indy - yeah my phone is the HTC Evo 4G through Sprint. Then I had to get the Ustream Broadcaster application (a free app) from the android marketplace. From there just film whatever you want basically. Obviously it’s really basic. It’s not a top notch stream and no fancy graphical overlays or anything but it was a good time and a good way to finally do a real test with it.
Spencer - of all the Abe parties throughout the last 11-12 years I’ve been attending this whole grudge match thing will certainly rank up there amongst other top moments that I will always remember. Good stuff. I hope you didn’t damage your stick in any way. It seemed like it took a pretty good thud onto the ground there. I certainly would never want to do that to mine. I may have to nominate you for an academy award on that one. You never even do that when you are really mad on our weekend sessions, what the hell?
Hey all Fort Wayne crew, don’t forget if anyone is interested in a little trip next Saturday (not supposed to fully speak freely about the details here on SRK per the party host) we still need to get plans. Mainly we need a driver and a time, both very important if we are actually going to go. I just found out I will be in Fort Wayne early Saturday morning at 8am to do a little testing for a job fair they are holding. I am not sure how long the test will take but it cannot go any longer than 12pm noon because they said that is when the job fair thing is ending. Of course I kind of hope to not have to take the entire 4 hours. Anyway I am just letting anyone know in case there is a chance I can catch a ride on the trip. It would be much appreciated and a nice change of pace for once. 
:tup: I know Spencer mentioned he might look into driving and he has done so a few times in the past. Gary has drove sometimes too but I don’t know if he’ll want to come or not, he is very hard to plan things with usually. Is there anyone else besides these two that might be open to driving? I guess we don’t even know who all has interest in coming. It’s really impossible to plan anything when no one communicates. It’s frustrating to me anyway. I’m a grumpy old man. I need a grumpy old man smiley face here on SRK. Someone should make this happen. Maybe it’s exclusive to SF2 players. Haha.
I’ve made it very clear to Josh that I don’t like his face. If he never wants to play BB with me again I wouldn’t complain but I did show him about 20 things he was doing that were unsafe so you can’t say I wasn’t being helpful either.
And actually Arcana Heart does not seem bad at all considering I knew nothing and it was the first one. I’m definitely still hype for AH3.
Brent- Don’t worry about it. If he had hyped up a money match with me the way I did with him for a while just to pull out of it a couple months before it went down, I would be shitty to him as well. He was not a complete ass. As he said, he has given me some awesome advice, as well as answered questions I had about Ragna throughout my beatdown.
