Fort Wayne, IN - someone please post something for crying out loud

Sup Guys?!?! Martell here again. I’ll be adding anyone today who has a PSN account. I’m definitely improving with Abel in SSFIV, but it’s gonna be tough getting to that A+ rank that I’m aiming for. So I think a few Endless battle sessions and more training will sharpen my skills. I just need more competition other than the oh-so-common Ken and Ryu scrub players I meet every minute. You guys are probably the best competition I’ve had thus far.

hey what up Martell? we are still in the process of trying to get the IPFW gaming club thing going and then we should have a solid place/time to meet each weekend. we are (and have been) in flux for a bit now but it’ll get better and we can all start playing together in person again.

I’ve uploaded all the vids I had from my phone onto the youtube channel. Wow, that took way longer than it should have.

There it is.

Also, I think I played the best street fighter I’ve ever played last night after Ihop.

hey old friends long time no see

Haha I bet this’ll be shot down in an instant, but who wants to go to NEC :wonder:?

Seriously though BB teams omg I’ve always wanted to enter a BB team tournament and I hear some west coast players are going too :hype:. Sure it’s a long distance, but we are all still young we need to get out more ^^.

i would love to sometime but it’s just not feasible for me, just like Evo every year.

hey guys, in case any of you didn’t check out MrBlasty’s link for some weird reason that tourney requires pre-registration and it’s free to do so but they are only taking 100 people… so in other words even if you aren’t sure if you can go but think there is any slight chance you might want to attend then there is absolutely no reason to get on the ball and do it right now. you gain nothing by waiting, you only risk possibly missing out on your chance to go later on if too many other folks do what i’m advising. just pre-reg now and the worst thing that can happen is that come January you decide you aren’t going. it’s a no brainer… pre-reg.

Mike, speaking of pre-regging for that tourney i’m hoping you see that you can apply to be the out-of-state representative for BBCS. i would certainly advise that you put your name in the hat. i did so for ST. i think we are both probably the strongest out-of-state contenders that might be attending this event so we have great shots.

Jeez man you can’t compare going to Evo with NEC. Evo would assuredly require plane tickets, but I’m sure we could easily drive to NEC it not even half as far. Oh, well just though I’d ask. I guess though it’s pretty close to CBB:G and potentially FF3 so it’d be pretty impossible to go to everything.

Anyway yeah pre-reg’d for CBB:G just for fun. Fuck BBCS though I’m putting all my time and effort into preparing for RPS, real talk.

well i mean in the sense of taking several days to attend, it’s a farther drive than i would want to make usually, and the money that will be involved in making an entire weekend out of it. it’s just not in the cards for me. you are more than welcome to go if you want, there is no rule saying i have to be at a tourney before you can think of attending.

actually i really wasn’t even giving FF3 any thoughts either to be perfectly honest. i have never attended any of the past ones and wasn’t likely to attend this one either.

Hmm, why’s that? It’s basically the same size as CBB and same distance away. Anyway yeah I kind of don’t have any options to go to tourneys if you don’t considering if it weren’t for you we’d never have a car to go.

I’m not going to CBB3, $20 for SSF4? That’s cool to the people it will pay out to, but it would just be a waste of money to me.

hey would anyone be interested in some Great Wall 2 buffet this Saturday before Abe’s party? say at like 6 or 6:30? anyone? let me know please.

the point is to discourage pot monsters from entering to keep our numbers down cause as brent well know i dont give 2 shits about that game. Its more of an experiment than anything will suck that your not gonna make it …and oh yea cbb3 was last summer

You could count me in on that possibly. It depends if I’m not working, but hopefully I can catch a ride.

Chinese food makes me sick :[

Well things might change, I went ahead and pre-reg’d anyways, but we’ll see as it gets closer if I’m going or not.

I should be able to come. I haven’t had Chinese in a while.

I blieve T Baby may also be making an appearance.

it’s up to y’all. if no one else wants to hit that Great Wall 2 my feelings won’t be hurt. i’m just craving it as always. i could eat there like every weekend or two.

Josh - yeah if you want to come that’s cool and then obviously i can give you a quick hitch to Abe’s. it would be great if you could get a ride back home though. or are you driving yourself everywhere that weekend? i forget that you can drive now. good shit. anyway let me know.

Tilt $10 Tuesday (T3) SSF4 Tournament 12-7-10

helloooooo-ooo Ft. Wayne… a few weeks ago we had our first T3 tournament at the Tilt/Gameworks arcade and we had a pretty good turnout considering i only gave a week’s worth of notice… bu this time around we got about a month to plan ahead so I’m hoping some of you guys (mainly Brent and Gary, not that i don’t love the rest of you, no homo) can showup and compete…

In all reality i just want to get all the Indy SF players together for a local tourney… our skill level around Indy is pretty even between all of the fighter fiends, with Gary regarded as the best… so no doubt we’ll have a helluva time playing it out with all the IN SF heads… so without further adue…:

Tilt $10 Tuesday (T3) SSF4 Tournament 12-7-10

alright alright alright... the last went over pretty good... so i'm happy to announce that i'll be holding another T3 SSF4 tournament on December 7th

**When:** December 7th, starting at 6:00~6:30 with a bit of a grace period since we all run on gamer time

**Where:** of course the tournament will be held at the Tilt arcade downtown at Circle Center Mall
we get a basic run of the arcade at your own discrection... bring your TILT cards but we wont need em for SSF4

**What (rules):** $10 entry fee, $8 with a setup (TV, PS3/360, with SSF4) SSF4, 2/3 rounds, 2/3 matches, double elim., 99 seconds the usual

last time we had just enough for a full 16-man bracket with a few dropouts, but this time with a more gratuitous headsup i don't doubt that we'll end up with more players than that

so given that little tidbit we won't be able to run the whole thing on the arcade cabs like last time, and we'll prolly have to move to the 4D room where we used to hold NTC... so if you bring a setup with SSF4 i knock your entry fee down to 8 bucks and I'll fill out the rest of the pot myself ... the reduced waiver list ends once we get a garunteed 5 setups

PM me if you want on the waiver list, or if you wanna pre-reg... the latter isn't necessary

oh yeah meant to say somebody has to get the word about this to Puff and his crew… i told him about the last one and i totally want him and Dave to make this one but i cannot for the life of me find Puff’s username on here… a little help here… man PM blitzes are tiring…
