[FORSALE] Custom Arcade Joystick(s)

can I get a 3rd strike looking one?

i don’t care for graphics. i just want something better than this piece of crap i made for myself. ps2, p360, ps2 to dc converter so i can play my friends.

yay i cant wait to get mine… i got everything for it

Competition Buttons, p360, and converter so i can play on both dc and ps2

i guess ill just fix it up myself if i want color or whatnot…o well

Just got my stick and I must say Dreded Fist did an amazing job on it!! Unfortunately the PS to Xbox Joypad Convertor II - $12.95 from Level Six doesn’t seem to work with my stick :frowning:
I guess I should of got the Magic Box convertor instead.

it’s all dependant on what donor board DF uses in his sticks. Different adaptors have different levels of compatibility and the further you get from an official dualshock the worse your chances of adaptor combatibility.

100% - Sony Dualshock
??? - 3rd party dualshock
less chance - Digital Sony
Even less - digital 3rd party

People, there must be a compatibility chart somewhere for all of this.

There’s stuff about some Xbox adaptors having lag as well as the button configuration on Dreamcast adaptors.

When I got my stick and Xbox converter from Dreaded Fist they worked, NP. Plus it was the Dreambox converter and I didn’t need to change any button configurations. No button lag either

Same here I have no problems playing on the x-box and I have the 360’s. Been playing so much I got blisters from the stick

Ask DF were he got the adapter from.

I got the dreambox adapters from lik-sang.

You already have your own thread going, no need to do it more.

Hey, this is DF’s thread. If you want to sell your stuff, go make your own damn thread.

How to offer art without copyright infringement

Ok, I’m a graduate of an art school and have had classes on copyright infringement. Here is how you can avoid getting in legal trouble for the artwork you offer on your sticks. If you build a stick with artwork someone else (the buyer) provides, then you are not infringing. All you have to do is allow the buyers of your sticks to submit artwork to you, and then you can put it on the stick, so all your selling is the stick. You can still charge extra for the application of the graphic, but since you didn’t create it, it’s not your responsability to worry about if the buyer used copyrighted material or not.

I REALLY want to purchase a stick from you, but was saddened when I read you wouldn’t be putting artwork on them anymore.

Everyone Loves Dreaded Fist!

GXE i’m very glad to hear that  Because my fully original artwork layout isn’t going so well right now.

Go Clak Jaw Boot (stupid sh*t Sodom says)

So, Dreaded Fist, I would like to order a stick whenever you taking orders, so, it you’ld like, just email me, hoslapn@aol.com and let me know some particulars.

I wanted to know what the deal with the p360 stick or whatever, I’ve glanced at some discussions about the different stick available, but haven’t read them fully. Can you break it down about which sticks are best?

You could also make available psd files as templates where people can load character images they’ve scanned into the file…that to obsolves you of copyright infringement.

Keep up the great work.

but if he serves as a service to print unlicensed trademarked, copy written, registered IPs then there may also be legal issues there as well.

Any company that wants to sue someone over copyrights pretty much can, and win. It all comes down to who’s willing to spend the most money in court.

Everyone on these forums that is using say, Capcom characters, for their id tags when the post messages could be sued, not for money, since they’re not selling anything, but sued to stop using their character…shoryuken.com could be sued for that matter.

All Dreaded Fist has to do is off a disclaimer that he does not have the means or resources to discover if any image submitted to him is copyrighted or not and is therefore the responsablity of the buyer to ensure they aren’t using copy righted material.

Its just like when you goto to a boardwalk, there’s that one shop that sells car decals of Warner Brother characters pissing of a ford logo or something…they don’t have any license to do that or create those graphics, they just do. They’re to low on the tier to be of some sort of threat to Warner Brothers. If say, Pep Boys started offering that service, Pep Boys would be sued for sure.

There is always a risk, sure, but that risk is greatly reduced if he allows the buyers to create the graphics, and dosen’t “charge” for printing them out.

Just like an escort service is really prostitution, we know it, but they avoid the law but f*ckin you after their shift is over, so they’re off the clock, and now its just to consenting adults.

If I was dreaded fist, I would continue what I was doing. Just like Hentai and Dojinshi comics sold on ebay, that stuff ain’t licensed, and they are making way more money than Dread Fist is I’m sure…and they continue to stay in buisness. Capcom is more upset with Chun Li being anal raped by Blanka than of someone printing their graphics on a controller.

Ya Ta!

Enthusiasm

I am a big time fighting game fan, and an even bigger Street Fighter fan. When I discovered this forum from a Google search, and read the threads and saw Dreaded Fists website, I thought, damn the some sh*t. I haven’t been this excited since 8th grade when I had Super Street Fighter II reserved for Super NES and brought it home for the first time and played with Fei Long.

Peace.
