This game has truly rekindled my love for 2d fighters and i was hoping to really get into street fighter HD and IV coming out soon. I was planning on picking up one of the new Madcat arcade sticks in Feb if they get good reviews, but I don’t feel like buying two of them for each console. So, i’m wondering which version do you think is better? Which has better players? Which runs more smoothly? So far my PSN experience has been ok, though sometimes the connection drops are very bothersome.
Think the response you’ll get from most people would be to buy the 360 version of the stick, then mod it so it plays on both
threads like this always end up in Console war.
Interesting idea, though i’m not sure how to do that Even so, just so I don’t have to buy two copies of SFIV at first.
What he said.
Just get a cthulhu board.

Ah, thanks for the info i’ll check it out.
Yes, these men speak the truth; however, the 360 version of STHDR runs much more smoothly, has much less lag, and generally better players. That being said, the PS3 version has a much better Quickmatch system (if you search for a quickmatch on PS3, you always get a room with only one other person in it), friendlier people (see the “what other players message you after you beat them” thread), a better d-pad (but I suppose you’re getting a stick), and, in my opinion, feels better than the 360 version (don’t ask me to elaborate, they both just feel…different).
For what it’s worth, that’s my $.02 (I assume it’s worth $.02?)
Yeah, I agree. PSN has network issues but the game play and selection of players seemed slightly more mature than the XBL version. Most ppl on XBL just want their precious achievement points to show who’s got a bigger dickhat http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=258. PSN also have slightly better players than XBL but again just my feeling. I only play on PSN now. I wish PSN netcode was as good as the XBL version. Guess can’t have them all…
With Xbox Live, I am happy to know that the Servers won’t shut down (As long as MS supports the Xbox) unlike the Playstation Network which is dependant on how long the developers want to keep their servers up.
It cost money after all.
