Hey there, tried searching for an answer with no avail…
A quick question for those who disabled their R2/L2 (PS3) or RB/LB (360) buttons on their TE, SE, HRAPs, etc. for comfort and only needing 6 buttons over the 8
How did you get around having to use R2 or RB for REQUEST SETTINGS in the SFIV menu system? Do you just use the controller on 2P to change it if needed, or remapped the SELECT or BACK button accordingly? Or is there a way to access these settings without having to use the R2 or RB button?
I’m making my custom stick and my cousin is in the process of modding his HRAP, and he’s removing the end 2 buttons to make it a 6 button layout… my custom arcade stick (PS3) will also only have 6 buttons
Sorry if this has been asked before - any response or suggestion is much appreciated. I know its a minor issue, but with so many ppl using the same console, some like to play just player match, others ranked, and others championship mode.
You can map any attack to the 6 buttons you plan on using. If you have a six button layout, why not just use R2 as one of those buttons and then re-map it in the game options? Then you still have that button there for the request settings during the menu, but it will work functionally as part of your six button layout during fights. Theres nothing really to get around. It all just depends how you want to map your buttons. I thought the PS3 version used R1 though for Request settings (dont know since I dont own it).
to be more specific - i know some people have modded their HRAPs and TEs/SEs from 8 buttons down to 6 - i wanted to know how those guys are getting around that
