This is a tweet from the official Twitter account of the movie. The comments are pretty telling and I wouldn’t be surprised if fox considers doing a deal with marvel studios.
Fuck. All this mention of Batman & Robin and now I can’t find that hilarious fake poster for it that was on Cracked. Maybe the URL is still on my laptop somewhere since I know I at least saved that picture thankfully…
Wow. Talk about not being able to live to even the expectations of people with low standards.
I thought FF 1&2 Reed Richards was well cast. He was literally like the only person properly cast in that entire movie. I didn’t like what they did with him in FF2 though.
I still don’t understand why they decided to cast a 5’2" Thing, then have Sue tower over him the entire movie.
I really get the feeling we’re now part of a secret countdown till Fox and Marvel start “discussing” shit.
That’s a pretty big sign that Fox knows that they have a stinker on their hands. I recall a few years back that they wanted to do a shared cinematic universe between these two, similar to the MCU.
And then he up and made a better Captain America.
On a related note, Michael Chiklis’s Ben Grim could’ve been something. But he was wasted on those two mediocre movies.
Yeah, but there’s a level of bad where you think, “we can still salvage something out of this.” And then there’s the level of bad of this film.
Also shows the level of foresight they have coming into this towards building a cinematic universe - basically showing that they wanted to cash in on the craze and weren’t working to develop one from the get go.
Yeah true, Fantastic Four embodies the ideas of “High Fantasy/Science Fiction”. Changing that radically disrupts the spirit of everything they are.
F4 isn’t Batman, Deadpool, Daredevil, Punisher, etc.
Stop trying to make them what they aren’t. Fucking make a good movie with them. There have been FOUR films and the best one was the shitty Roger Corman flick.
