There is no start-up. It attempts a grab each time you release of press a button, which necessarily happens the first frame the move comes out for obvious reasons. Such a window that accepts button inputs is not very long, though. I do not recall its length depends on the punch, though.
Edit: do you mean the spinning part, after a successful grab? Cos that is way faster, and it is the real reason why Jab SPD dizzies much more often than Strong and Fierce SPDs: it gives less time for the dizzy timer to run out.
What I was trying to ask was if there was a difference between how fast jab initiates the grab sequence compared to fierce. Because I too feel that there is some difference jab and fierce grabs. If not the distance, then maybe the speed of the grab?
Before I learned how to neg edge spd, I would always use jab to spd against players that know have good reversals. My percentages with tick grabs with jab was always higher then fierce. I’m pretty sure I’m not imagining this. Can anyone shed a light?
I have never activated turbo on mine… home button, yes… that lock switch and ls-dp-rs switch yes (the main one for me which fucks me over in a match sometimes). On a TE the Turbo is a bit far.
Yet I know rcaido goes to tournys so I am not jumping into the whole argument cause it seems like one time apparently. I would be more into if it was caught over numerous times-- again unless I am missing something cause I am still lost at how this all came about and I know all you guys.
I see what you’re saying but my point is if you want a legitimate ST experience you need to play offline. As long as it’s online people will do things other could consider disrespectful/cheating, and as far as I’m concerned that’s par for the course.
I use the coin for back & start for start, it would be tedious putting it on lock back n forth…I can understand when going to tournaments but these are just online casuals…
Also, if you notice from the thread or other threads, you will notice they go to the extreme to try to post anything negative about me. Fei raping me on youtube, when i win a tourney oh those guys aren’t good, they make multiple accounts on ggpo to ridicule me, etc…I think they went a bit over in this thread but it is what is…

How many personal insults did you throw at others like bob being fat and Ultracombo being a poor dropout? The only thing I ever mention about you (I can’t speak for others) is what you bring to the table, such as your character and play style and what you say in the chat about your life when you go on about how you make six figures a year yet you’re on ggpo all day, or how you have a wife but you’re on all night trolling ggpo etc blah blah… Basically all the rubbish no one really cares about. Yet you come in throwing personal insults to the mix and no one does it back to you yet you still continue. You can’t say anything else so you resort to stupid immaturity, name calling and insults. You’re a really good victim Rcaido, you should try out for acting.
