I have both a ps3 and a 360 in the same room on same network and so far the 360 version seems to be smoother on line less lag for matches with the same ping and less random disconnects for me.
anybody have trouble connecting with quickmatch with psn?
Really, only the opinions of those who have played both matter in this discussion.
damn ppl r still with this 360 is better bs lol. i still havent found any problems for psn other then some glitches that both versions have anyways. just stick of what u have there both good. im having a blast on psn and pretty sure ppl r doing the same on 360. so stop with the console war BS. i think the mods should have a rule if someone starts with a console war argument just ban there ass.
well, i do think what is important, is to really know which game is more consistent offline, for tourney purposes. but yes, console war shit needs to leave this board. we need concrete info on how well each version plays offline when it comes to glitches. it would suck with evo going with a version that could be really bad for tourney(random disappearing sprites, hud glitch, etc…).
online play, in regards to lag, is almost irrelevant to argue about, between the consoles. its moot point. you cant compare the 2, its damn near impossible to get the exact same connection environments over and over to thoroughly test. people are enjoying it on both consoles, lets leave it at that.
no more theory/assumption bs.
lets get facts
The 360-only beta tends to suggest that, like many cross platform games, HD Remix was developed on 360 hardware and ported to PS3. My guess is that the Xbox 360 version will be the definitive tournament version.
i’d say i noticed nothing different outside of the fact that the Hori EX2 stick SUCKS vs using your own stick.
On a serious note, I’ve had some random lag/slowdown/jumps on the PSN, but im on a wireless network. I’m sure if I plugged it in that prob would be fixed. Havent had any probs connecting to Quickmatch or had ANY drops via PSN. XBL is XBL.
EDIT: Above poster’s wrong guess is wrong, as previously pointed out.

Unless Mr.Wiz changes his mind. Also, it wouldnt make sense IMO for it to be devved on 360 hardware but released on PS3 first? Hmm…
They’re probably going to run the PS3 version because it’s compatible with controller adapters and has more joystick options right now.
no shit, we already know that. thats not what is being asked or talked about. i msaying it will be good to figure out now, if ps3 version is stable off line, 100%, before evo comes around, so if it needs to be switch ed to 360 format, or just drop the game alltogether, is important to figure out.
i dunno about you guys. but i would hate to have my game on the line in a big tourney and all of a sudden sprites disappear, which i keep hearing of on the ps3. some claim its happening offline, which is a massive cause of concern
I’ve had more disconnects on PS3, but I’ve had more “choppy” matches on 360. In my experience, I’ve come across more people who seem to know what theyre doing on 360 than PS3 (no disrespect).
