advice/tips
I’ve been playing with Gief since I got SF4 and I still need to learn some stuff, so I’ll need some advice/tips/critique on things I do good and things I do wrong, what I need to improve/do more. All I know is that I need to play more conservatively, since I tend to just rush in on the offense and don’t really defend/block at all.

So I’m slowly gonna be updating the first post of this thread with more videos and stuff. I don’t really know how to find some of these guys on Nico (presumably because I don’t know how they spell their names in Japanese), can someone help me with that? Also, any other players you guys think I should mention who have videos to show?
In the meantime, I put up links to some of my own videos since they’re the easiest for me to find. I just had a good series with SoCal Rufus player Ken I/Sextaro in a Denjin ranbat in the grand finals. I was coming from the winners’ bracket and Ken was coming from losers, and grand finals were 3/5. I guess I won’t say who wins, although you can find out pretty easily if you don’t already know. What, he didn’t punish any horizontal balls with ex hands. He punished some with lariat juggled to ex hand, and he punished point blank up up balls with ex hands, but everyone’s known about that for a long time.

This is the greatest ending i have seen thus far against Sagat.
BTW does this mean Ex hand can punish Sagat’s ultra?
the ex hand came out at the perfect time between the part in sagat’s ultra when he lands from the knee into the first uppercut. I’m pretty sure that if you catch tiger knee or ultra knee early in the animation with ex hand you will eat knee.
He had just started the ultra he didn’t even go into the knee yet. It might be like this video I saw of Dan going through all ultra’s with his ultra. He starts up the motion and once it’s done with that special animation inputs the rest and he hits him because he is invincable. (I don’t know how to spell)

At the end of part 1, I accidentally chose Abel, but don’t worry, it didn’t count towards me. I just had to repay back Crack in tokens.
Edit: Also, just in case you don’t know, Crackfiend uses a delayed jump back fierce. Delayed jump back fierce doesn’t hit you if you wakeup throw or lariat, but it beats a jump, ex greenhand -> 720 attempt, etc. It’s the perfect spacer.
I’ve been working on spd -> light greenhand -> cr. lk x2 (not three, since boxer’s hit box is weird, unless you’re very close)-> greenhand. That way, if he decides to jump back, cr.lk will connect because of the prejump frames. I think I got it down now by utilizing my pointer finger instead of my thumb. Also, I think–I think-- that st. roundhouse will beat delayed jump back fierce.
