Fuck genei-“jesus mode”-jin thats the most broken POS in the game. :bgrin: thats the only reason why Yun is better than yang, even tho yang has the generic version of it. And they both suck for that grab they have where they flip over you and its unblockable.
Can you pull of Gigas without jumping or cancel into it somehow? I just use SA2 and throw them against the wall then use the super
well, in the pseudo sence i can pull off a gigas without jumping
different ways i can land gigas.
-standing or crouching jab or short > walk up > gigas
-dash > gigas
-whiff overhead > gigas
-clap > walk up > gigas
-clap (early so it whiffs) xx gigas
-whiff throw > gigas
-get hit > gigas lol
and yes
-parry > gigas
sometimes
-red parry > gigas
but if you’re asking if i can just gigas without any type of buffer, then the answer is no.
i know how to do it but it’s insanely hard and i’ve yet to do it.
edits: genei jin isn’t the only reason why yun is better than yang. yun’s target combo is way better than yang’s, yun can go into genei jin after his target combo, yun’s way better at building meter (watch pyrolee matches if you dont believe me), yun has better options after his dive kicks, yun can quick cancel into genei jin after his close mk, he still does decent damage outside of god mode, he can go into genei jin after a command grab on certain characters (ie chun, makoto and a few others), that’s pretty much it.
yang is still awesome tho
I didn’t need to be convinced, but all that is good to know. Pyrolee’s meter building and attack are insane, its like “Retreat 2 jumps…attack attack attack!” I just don’t like Yun…
You know as long as Ive been playing i only thought of the other ways to pull of Gigas like once, usually id just jump in and do it and land it maybe 2 or 3 times in my entire time playing. But then i just play Hugo to piss my friend off. Ive taken a liking to Alex and I’ve always liked Elena just cause she’s a capoeista.
Its funny to see how pissed off people get when you manage to trap them with stun gun headbutt multiple times, or when you get them into stun mode then do stun gun headbutt again to stun them once more.
Come to think of it, I think my biggest problem is timing and execution. If I could get my supers to come out about 25% more of the time or my parries when i put them in, I’d be golden.
