Hey future Pittsburgh resident, i’m over near brookline. Anywho when I move in I wanna get into some casuals ASAP. When I was growing up I had zero comp and tons of restless fingers. my favs were Guilty Gear reload but I wanna get into the new one. 3rd strike, DOA (don’t judge me it was one of the few games with online play and I felt dirty afterwards), Kof 2002, Soul Calibur and of course SSBM and SSBB. Just looking for the best places for casuals and tournies. Any Arcades possibly?
Theres an arcade with MvC1 downtown and I think T5. Other arcades have T5 machines. So they aren’t worth goin to. The guys in this thread are where its at tho.
There is a (broken?) MVC2 machine at the Waterfront. That is all that matters.

Question: PS2 or DC version of marvel. Cause i just got a ps2 version.
DC version is infinitely better. It is cheaper, as in free, and the ps2 version is really buggy with slow down, also it costs about an arm and a leg more.
Speaking of which, when I get back in town can someone hook me up with a copy of MVC2 that has decent music? Playing with the standard soundtrack blows.

ok just wondered. I got it for free cause it didnt work. All it needed was resurfaced and its good now but I guess if I play it i’ll play the DC version.
The PS2 version isn’t good for practicing on. Along with the lag, some of the sprite sizes were changed and some of the combos were broken.
