hey if you guys have anything you need modded/rapaired as far as joysticks, iPods, Zunes, PSPs, etc PM me I’ll see what I can do.
I have 3 tekken 5 sticks, a soul calibur stick, and a green goblin that all need soldered buttons… If you can at least teach me how to fix one, I can take care of those things.
I have a busted ipod that I am too lazy to take to the apple store.
Lastly, I have a psp that needs a pandora battery mod so I can put some custom firmware on it and play those super nes games that I love oh so much.

Soldering is easy to do. You can get a soldergun cheap at a craft or hardware store. Maybe even a soldering needle. I can’t find mine at the moment but I can do that.
I just repaired a 4th gen iPod and my Zune, they aren’t hard and really there arent any small parts, just the screws so if you’re willing to pay for parts I can do it.
I’ll look into the pandora battery. I remember putting a weird ass firmware on my PSP when i had it tho. So I’ll let you know friday. I’ll be at tekko tho so if you’re there i’ll probably see you.

I got a soldering gun. If you can fix buttons and/or teach me how to fix those buttons, I will be very grateful. I had a friend try to teach me in the past… but I could never seem to get it right.
I am not too worried about the pod, I just need to take it to an apple store. Which Nicole works right next to one, I should be able to talking her into dropping it off for me.
As for the psp, if you know someone with a pandora, that would be super. Supposedly, once you use it, it just sits around and gathers dust. But I could be wrong.
I won’t be attending tekkos. It is in green tree and I don’t think there are decent prizes for being good at mvc2 cvs2 and gg. So it seems a little silly go.
TJ, you best bring your dandy step mix up game on Friday. I will supply the jump around chipp action and the back dash set net/tree testament action. I am willing to bet that my jump/stand/crouch chipp jab can take out your ino, but we will see.
I don’t know about actually fixing the buttons unless its the wiring came apart. Soddering isnt welding on a miniscale so if thats the case then you’d probably have to scrape off then resodder the buttons. There’s the ground and then the signal wire. You should be able to run all the grounds to 1 common ground but each signal wire has its own place on the pcb? i think. I’m sure about the ground tho.
I wanted to see what other buttons felt like so eventually I think I might switch them out for seimetsus. I saw someone modded theirs so it lights up too when they hit the buttons so I might even go for that.
Depending on how busy my summer is just as an experiment i might even try to build a custom stick just for the hell of it. Gotta love high school wood shop skills

well, you can do either. if they try to backdash the forward heavy, they just get hit by it and take damage. if they try to backdash and you FRC it, they’ll get hit by the slide head when their backdash animation ends and you’ll be able to combo them… but i guess whichever works.

On a serious note, cause I am a serious guy, I would love to see you guys come to the C3 in May (no homo). It is the new ECC happening on mamorial day and we should get a good turnout. If anything we will get drunk one of these nights. I can either see if you all can stay at my place or get you a discount at the hotel across the street from me. The venue is only 10 min away from where I live and we MIGHT even get people from the south coming down. There is also a three story (yes, THREE stories) Burger King where all of us have our fun playing around and getting lost in the play zone. I got drunk one time and was lost for what felt like 30min in there lol. Get hype?
