There’s a lot more types of pate than foie gras, which is why he was confused (i think).
Oh that looks pretty goo-wait is that dijon? My nasal cavity has imploded.
I don’t know man, there used to be 7-11’s that didn’t have it.
I love sauerkraut. I like sour foods in general but sauerkraut particularly.
I drink THE SWEETEST OF SWEET TEA. I’m content with store-bought sweet tea. But if I make my own or get it from a restaurant and they thought a tablespoon of sugar was enough, I super-saturate dat shit. I’d probably burst into flames the moment I step onto British soil.
I also put sugar in my grits(but I prefer cream of wheat anyway, which I also sweeten).
I use mustard(normal yellow mustard) on sandwiches where mayo would be more appropriate.
I am the only one in my family that wants chitlins to be more than just a Thanksgiving food. Leave Unreal alone, I like the smell of chitlins and gasoline too. Also, my own farts. To the people that talk bad about chitlins, have you been checking to make sure that the casing for every sausage you ever ate was artificial and not natural?
I wondered in here on some low key shit until i saw the cardboard pizza bit and the buttercrunch cookies with chocolate milk…fuck you ziggans know about dat!!! Folks used to fight over that shit, u could NOT reach into someone elses tray without expecting a fight…lmao CPS (chicago public schools) all dayyyyy
Sugar in grits??? Heathen!
Sauerkraut is only good when cooked with a pork roast, other than that meh… I can tolerate it on a hot dog, but I’m more of a ketchup and mustard kinda guy…
And sugar in grits… where they do that at…
Butter and a lil salt…
Grits, eggs over easy, and a bit of grape jelly.
Mixed together.
edit Also, corned beef with rice…and grape jelly. =)
Corned beef is better cooked in boiled cabbage… with rice and no jelly… but jelly on the side with grits and eggs is gdlk… but not actually in the grits lol…
Oh yeah, the rectangle school pizzas were bad(but still pizza good), but those oval pizzas with an actual crust with beef mixed into the sauce kicked my ass. And the sausage pizzas served for breakfast were good too.
I should’ve elaborated. I meant to say CANNED corned beef.

i forgot to add that i like syrup on my fries as well
My weird food things:
Syrup on eggs.
Wendy’s french fries dipped in frostie.
Eel… I dunno why anyone wouldn’t like this but people are scared of it. It’s like my favorite food.
Veal… I think most people object to it because it’s a baby cow but if there’s one things I’ve learned in all my years… the more baby something is, the more delicious it is.
Whoever said Kimchi… you must not know many koreans.
Sardines / Anchovies are pretty good but it just creeps me out eating a whole fish.
Sisig, pigs ears, cheeks, and other rejected parts chopped, diced and then fried with onions and seasoned with a bit of soy sauce, served on a hot plate, sometimes with a fresh egg on top. Sprinkle a dash of lemon juice and tabasco sauce before eating. Goes real nice with a cold beer.
Sounds disgusting when you mention what it’s made of (which is why we don’t tell foreigner’s on their first taste of it) but Anthony Bourdain swears by the stuff.
you talking about that lechon stuff? i’d kill to try some of that.
Canned corned beef with grits, that’s where it’s at.
That’s a foreign food? They sell Pig Ears in US stores too you know… delicious… best to just eat and ask questions later…
That sounds almost like souse. I’d eat the hell out of that!
Canned corned beef is amazing. I eat it with Tabasco served over white rice.
isn’t lechon just the general word for pork?
Lol. What about that “Chocolate Meat”? Dinaguan over rice… But that’s not really chocolate.
A long time ago I was in a Filipino restaurant with my college room mates and we where given menus. Every dish on there had 1 or 2 sentence description, but oddly no sentence for the Dinaguan.
I guess chopped up pork entrails boiled in pork blood and vinegar with garlic, onions, and jalepenos doesn’t sound too applealing. My room mate said that dish sounds really so violent. My other said, “It sounds fit for a Klingon!”
So funny when non filipino people not in the know at family parties already dig in to that. They eat it and ask, “What is this? This is really good!”. We don’t have the heart to tell them, we just tell them it is “chocolate meat.”
I also tried to get my room mate to drink out of a balut egg before opening it.
Yeah, it’s good in banh mi sandwiches, for instance.
