Is there still a remote chance of those blue Seimetsu bubble tops coming this week? I’m gonna make a pretty big order this weekend and I wanted one of these, but I understand if you can’t get them.
Okay jmanDMC, I sent the return order today. Since it’s right before the weekend though, it might arrive past 30 day deadline for returns.
However, I sent the return request and shipped it out within the 30 days and that’s what matters right?
We asked our supplier to ship on Friday, which they did. Unfortunately they won’t arrive until early next week. Seimitsu and Sanwa were both delaying the shipment.
That’s fine. We’ll look for the shipment upon its return.
Hi all,
Marcelo Albans - a fellow SRK member - approached me with an alternative to the Sanwa OBSFS. The OBSFS buttons are different from OBSF only due to the addition of a neoprene washer that is used to dampen the plastic-on-plastic contact between top and base of the button. Marcelo’s washer does the same thing, and arguably may do a better job. A friend on Twitter pointed me out to this video.

Marcelo was in touch with us recently, and we’re looking to carry this product if pricing is reasonable. We’re mentioning this because we may limit how many of Sanwa’s OBSFS buttons we buy, knowing that the washer is the only real difference, but still costs more.
On another note, we are potentially carrying the optical Sanwa PCB as well, creating a truly silent joystick… We are in talks with Rollie regarding that. We will carry the official Sanwa products but feel that these items are great, cost-effective alternatives.

Anyways, I wanted to ask if there’s anything wrong with checking out currently. I’m ordering a Link and 8 OBSF Sanwa 30mm buttons but can’t get a price estimate for shipping. Instead, I went to check out and send it to my friend who will install them for me. The site says I can’t ship to his address, although we’ve done it multiple times before. I then tried to ship to my home address, but it gave the same error. Entering an actual address in CA, I got the same error too.
Hi Bees! Can you please retry? Sometimes the USPS server will hiccup occasionally and fail to return a shipping estimate. Can you PM me your zip codes as well?

All the JFL come without a default balltop?
The JLF TP 8YT does not come from Sanwa with a balltop by default. If we supply a balltop for free, our suppliers provided it, and it will likely come in black.
First time buyer, long time browser. Thanks for the quickness. Ordered one morning, got a notice that it shipped out that afternoon. Hopefully some more original style mesh balls become available soon.

After the fiasco trying to get this part from Lizard Lick, you don’t know how happy this made me. :lovin:
We asked our supplier about the ability to get the original mesh balltops remade by Sanwa. Unfortunately, this requirement several thousand dollars, and they aren’t prepared to do the classic run again anytime soon. Right now, we have limited access to the new style mesh balltops, and have focused on white, black and Dark Hai.

We got word that our supplier had them in stock after our most recent order. Next time we restock with them, we will order them. No ETA at the moment.

We were hoping to this week, but today received note from our supplier that Seimitsu is delaying the shipment for the second time. Restock won’t ship until Thursday, which means we’ll likely have it early next week if nothing else happens.
Update: just learned that the joysticks shipped a day early.
