Tournament Start Time

EVERYTHING STARTS AT Noon —

I would advise to come on Friday night and stay at the hotel.

Michael.

be warned, Michael Brandt (aka Jinmaster, aka JTYME) has never run an event w/o controversy…that is all.

Hey Josh you are a funny guy

I’m not running Tekken at this event. Do you plan on coming up? It’s been a while since I lived in Virginia.

If you can make it, you can stay at my place.

Michael.

I love GG, come play me

lol how many people actually play VF5 seriously? 10?

Anyway Ill keep this on the look out.

What do you mean by “star” players? You got like Jwong coming to this or something?

“Entry Fee: $10
Registration: $20” Does that mean 10 dollar cover fee and then 20 to enter each game? or the other way around.

Sounds good, but you’d better add smash brothers to the list as well.

I’ll be there.

I’ll help run Brawl.

This is going to Rock!

I’m confident I can get ~32 players to attend the VF5 tournament, Columbus has a decent scene actually

$10 each game

“Star” players are top players, every tournament I run, my first goal is to provide excellent competition to my guests.

Michael.

LOL no 3s… LMAO!

Thats funny , smash over 3rd? Ridiculous.

wow that is the worst list of tourney games ive ever seen…i dont trust this bullshit. No TvC/MvC2 or CvS2 you really kno how to run a tourney dont you. i hope elephant flies infest your pubic area

EDIT - Much better, thanks.

I appretiate the “starting on time” attitude. I have NEVER been to a tourny that started less than an hour late, and I think ill play better if I dont have to worry about that shit.

I understand some players don’t like Street Fighter IV, but you have you to understand that the MAJORITY of players do. Trust me, I enjoy Third Strike just as much as you. However, running 3S will make the overall tournament run longer than needed, and the participation in 3S is not worth it anymore. Just look at recent tournaments.

Hello and thanks for the positive feedback! MvC2 and CvS2 are classic games. Those games will take away from the event.

At the West Chester Them vs Us Beta tournament, they did run MvC2 & CvS2 and less than 16 players signed up. Are you interested in traveling for a 10 man tournament? I understand some tournaments yield higher participants for the older games, but this tournament will only have newer titles.

These tournament fee’s are standard. $20 Venue/$10 Games. This tournament is set-up to be a major. I secured a large room at a VERY nice hotel VERY close to the airport which gives free shuttle service. I’ve done a ton of work so far for this tournament, and I will continue to do so.

I promised a smooth tournament, and a prompt starting time. This tournament will have STAFF that will not enter the tournament. They will have specific roles (running brackets, registration, etc) to ensure this event is a success.

The last VF5 tournament I ran had 32 players. I’m sure I can get the same turnout again, if not higher.

Michael.

As long as this doesn’t conflict with another tournament I am going to I will make it.

I’m just going to happen to be in Columbus visiting my pops around that time.

I’ll be there for SC4. I got a guy (king17) who wants in on SC4 and Smash Brawl for sure, and possibly 2 others.

Evan

BTW everyone this is NOT A MAJOR! how can it be? all the planning that went into this 2 months ahead. What a joke. sorry i keep posting shit but i just want to warn others. Ive heard some shit about this clown

  • I smell some shiesty business here * sniffs around

I will be there fo sure. It is all about the games and the competition. If you need I can bring a tv and a 360.

The only thing I think you should at least add is HDR.

Okay, please fill us in.

Or keep posting white noise. Whichever you prefer.
