saturday is fine here, my plans on sunday were canceled… on wednesday (check your nonwork emails more than once a week) so all this work effort im putting in was unnecessary

Hey guys just found this thread. Currently I live in Uniontown, Pa which has no scene at all for fighting games only a few of my friends even have street fighter 4. Good news is i’m moving to the Pittsburgh area in July and i’m just wondering how it is there. Do you guys host any tournaments or anything ? Any arcade action going on ?
We have a small group of serious players. About ten-twelve people here play sf4, SFmaniac/ TJ is our best sf4 player.
We also played a large variety of other fighting games, mvc2, cvs2, tekken (which has it’s very own group that can be found on zaibatsu) soul calibur, guilty gear, snk games, and blaz blue.
We haven’t hosted in a tournament in a while. We do travel to them every now and then. We typically make our way to Ohio and Buffalo a couple of times a year, we have also traveled to Virginia, Philly and other places too, it all depends.
Sounds good. I’ll be checking this thread often for updates on what you guys are up to. I’m starting to build a couple sticks at the moment for sfiv and MvC2 which is coming out soon. If any of you guys have xbox live definitely hit me up on there my game-tag is : Oxide530.
When I move there my apartment is a pretty decent size and i’ll have some sticks built by then. I also have a decent 42 inch HD TV so i’ll possibly even be able to host some get togethers if you guys are interested.
Also i’m looking for a job in the Pittsburgh area that pays decent if you guys have any suggestions. Currently I work at a call center for Apple computer tech support. So a tech support / call center job that isn’t shitty would be cool but anything is good that pays. I was thinking about applying at the Apple Store but I have to find out what you start at and the hours.

Has anyone been to the Beaver Valley Mall in monaca? I live about 40 min north of the burgh and it’s very easy to get here.
But anyway I’d be interested in hosting a few today. I play on 360 and have 2 sticks but 1 (hori ex2) is having issues turning on. Guess my akuma killed it, who knows.

Bandit, I’ve been there. I know they have DDR tournaments and shit there and last I remember they either had a T5 machine or a SvC Chaos machine but its been forever since I’ve been there.
I’m up for games most any time and i can host\drive. I have a ps3 stick and have a 360 stick in the works.
