I would have been the guy playing as Akuma if they didn’t lose their memory card. I made it to the 2nd round and it went something like this.
Round 1: opponent(Controller) picks ken and I(Stick) pick ken
I lose as Ken and pick Ryu for the 2nd match and beat him. They guy wanted to switch to a stick and we waited for someones match to finish up so he could use one. A few minutes later we start our final match, we both had the same characters as match 2 and I win again.
Round 2: opponent(Controller) picks Rufus and I(Stick) pick Ryu
I lose the first match and switch to Dhalsim for the 2nd match. I lost that match and was out.
I was excited to come to a Pittsburgh Tournament but was under the impression that I’d have my main to play as.
Anyway, I’ve been learning Viper, pretty cool. I had a lot of really close matches last night and should have filmed it. It would make a nice addition to my YouTube channel.

Oh and I’ll be making sticks/boxes soon too. Might borrow the “Simple Box” design with the plexi, maybe. I need to test something like that first.
I don’t remember that, I had to play TvC so after I lost I went over to that for a bit. I would’ve played Akuma too but damn memory cards.
But that isn’t a real tournament anyways. So it doesn’t matter.
end of semester gaming
the semester is kinda coming to a close, so more people should be more free to do stuff between end of school and finals. i dont really have a means of transportation, nor do i know many people who play but i’d love to get some 3s/sf4 going before mid may.
I’m probably the only person that’ll play 3s now unless Butters will. Everyone plays SF4 tho. Except me. I hate that fuckin game. I only play because of Akuma. The ass of justice just isn’t so justice-y anymore.

Hey this is one game that I am actually learning since I got in on the ground floor like everyone else. But same old same old, work game live.
Someone in this state has a vid of a black dude running through a camp ground tp in hand being chased by a pair of skunks. Not to mention the fact that PA is already crazy but the are some really strange things in the woods. Ex: A wooden water slide and naz carts. Oh yeah “NAZ CARTS”

SF4 is nowhere near as interesting as 3s especially when both players have ultra. “OMG STAY BACK DONT RAPE ME!” New =/= better.
And 3s is much, much more pretty. Art wise. Graphic wise.
So is HDRemix. HDR > 3s >>>>>>>>>>>>>> SF4.

Even if Honda was a power house, I’d still hate the game like I do. Akuma being a monster doesn’t even help with my decision in liking the game. And I play him in every other game he’s in as well. Except Marvel.
Unless it’s an SNK game I need my fighting games moving at crackhead speed. Like ST on Turbo 3 setting :razz:

Since I’ve played it everything about it pales in comparison to just about every other serious fighter I’ve played (I say serious cause I’ve played some fucked up stuff coughbattlerapercough) in many aspects.
Edit: Ok I’ll play it over Soul Calibur any day.
