Well, We’ll be playing on Saturday at Nate’s. You can get there with the 500 or 71D, It’ll pick you up on fifth and drop you off at fifth and Highland, his place is a couple of blocks and a phone call away from there. I live in Friendship, which is a bus ride away from Oakland. Hope to see you there on Saturday.
Someone needs to drag another console to Nate’s on Saturday too. That way we can maximize playtime.

And the tournament idea: I’ve wanted to organize and throw one for awhile. It’d be nice to get one of the ballrooms or somethin in the Duquesne Power Center but they probably have some stupid venue cost or whatever. Or maybe I can rent out the Towers MPR but yeah… We should do somethin.

At least 30 people were signed up, maybe 40 or 50 for the SF4 tournament at gamestop on forbes alone. City wide it had to be around the same for other gamestops. I’ll check into it tomorrow/next week.

It’d be best to plan it around a time when there isn’t a lot goin on (aka No FR, no MWC, no EVO, no SB, no ECC/CCC) so maybe around this time. That’s when we could generate the most interest. Duquesne’s spring break might be a good time also or any break really, maybe even during the middle of summer?
Another issue would be parking though. Duquesne is gay about their rates. It’s not cheap. I doubt a lot of people would want to take public transportation to the tournament venue as well. There’s enough hotels in the area though.
Also, they just started shooting an NBC show on campus so I don’t know how that will go over either.
