A good guile is scary to play against. They’re freaking walls!
I thought Seth would be the one-sided answer. Ah well…
a good guile isn’t a wall to take down . . . they are actually FUN to play against. There are ones who thinks they are good but they are actually “MR. I only know two and a half moves”. WHy??? pick Gief and find a Guile player and you’ll know what I mean. I’ve fought really good Guiles who don’t do what I mentioned but actually pull off combos and sick moves on me. I lose to some and I beat some but a really good Guile is pretty hard to come by.
I dunno, I forgot who I played against over the weekend, a great guile from LA.
He had a great zone game. If I jumped, air throw. Focus attack, sonic boom and fierce punch. Block, another sonic boom. I didn’t have a lot of options to beat this guy.
I did win, but this was casuals. I’m sure we would have had a different outcome if I played him in the tournament.
A good Guile is really trouble, I think if Guile had a better ultra he would move up a lot in the tier lists. But he is not all that flashy imo lol still better than Ryu or Gief at least… and enjoyable to play against.
