First attempt at TE round one art panel design

What do you think? I’ve already painted the burgundy plastic rim white for the purpose of easy art matching whenever I change out the lamilabel. I’ve aligned the logos with the button layout in my final version, but I’m too lazy to “save for web” again :stuck_out_tongue:

Looks good man, but I think there are better pictures of those 2 chick elsewhere, but the purlple looks great!

After giving it some thought I realized that all I did was a cheesy copy and paste job for the characters - and that doesn’t match my quality tastes. I found some better art of Morrigan, flipped her upright (she was laying down) and gave her a “fade to the background” effect to make it look like she is coming out at you. I think it came out better when I gave it some TLC.

To be honest, I like the first one better. I think the art in the first one fills the space better than the second one.

Purple is real clean. I like the font too, matches the tech-style background well. Nice work!

Yeah I see what you mean. It was a tough choice but what sold me on the second one is how it matches the design style more. The first characters are more of a sketchy look, and don’t get me wrong I love that kind of thing, but the background to me is more smooth and curved. I think that the second one blends better with the background than the first, however (with the curves of her posture etc). It was a touch choice though.

Now to decide if I want to keep it clean with 2 violet buttons or if I want to match her hair and the logos with a set of blue. I’ll probably do the purple…

Second one is better. Nice and smooth Morrigan art fits in better with the smoothness and cleanliness of the design.

And woooooo… Morrigan is lookin’ sexy. Link me or PM me the art if you can, pretty please? :]

I definitely would be proud to sport that second design. Great job, man.

And lastly, I think you should go for the purple buttons. That will make Morrigan’s hair leave a stronger impression and be more eye-catching, IMO. The blue buttons would shift attention to two sides. You definitely want her to be the center of attention. :lovin:

TE Artwork: 3rd times a charm!

Finalized my template, and added a second template for a complimentary felicia stick using the same style. I decided I’m going with seimitsu clear buttons so that I can put artwork and leds in them. For the felecia template, I found an image that I could cut up and make look like she is swinging from the joystick. Whatcha think?

Nice one but prefer the Felicia one
