Alright, here are Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia news and updates
and for the record, I do not cause people to be unhyped for games in a series they are interested in. they unhype themselves because I’m treated like some ostracized black sheep of the community for some strange excuse. It’s kind of like people that underrate something automatically if someone mildly crazy hyped it up. it’s illogical to take be unhyped by something, even if a village idiot promotes it out of the sheer interest and hype they personally have towards it. So there.
The only person on SRK that can unhype a game for me is Orochizoolander because of his pretentious, looking-down-from-his-nose, holier-than-thou, “I’m smarter than everyone else” aura all his posts give off.
Been meaning to play FE games for awhile now, but with the release of FEH, it made me jump on them sooner. I pulled a Linde on FEH so I wanted to play the games she was in. So I went with Shadow Dragon but dropped that shit like midway through cuz it’s kind of ass with cardboard characters. Got the english patched version of New Mystery of the Emblem and holy shit this game is so much better in every way. Will resume the GBA one with Lyn that I started years ago afterwards.
So shadows of valentia let you walk around towns and shit? That’s what I like and wish they would have add in the modern FE games. I’ll prob have to grab 3ds sometime.

Been going through my units in Heroes trying to clear out my barracks and found out I have a surprisingly decent number of good IV units. Too bad I also have a feather shortage problem.
How can you tell if they are a IV unit again? I think I might have a Cordelia like that because her weapon has a + sign by it…or is that because she is 5 stars?

Game gave me Roy and I was all excited with his cool intro until i looked at the tier list and saw he was the shit tier version
You gotta look at their stats and see which stats are high and which are low. Here’s the site I use:
Keep in mind:
- It’s easiest to tell the IV’s of a level 1 or 40 unit, so you should check an IV as soon as you get a unit.
- Units you get as rewards (like Black Knight) always have neutral IV’s.
- Remember to subtract the attack power of your equipped weapon as well as any bonuses granted by skills to get your units flat stats.
Oh, and it’s worth it to train Anna and Sharena, due to them giving Bonus Points in the Arena if you use them. Those two and Alfonse are always one of the 8 bonus point units. I would say train Alfonse, but he’s kinda bad and requires a bunch of inherited skills to become decent.
Yeah I didn’t realize Anna was as good as she is. I got sheena up there but stopped messing with her because she was hard to level up due to her shit speed and attack power. But now I JUST realized what that design stuff in the home screen does. You use that shit to boost your exp??? lol I could have did that shit days ago fml.
Oops, I meant Sharena. The lance girl you start out with.
Oh yea, that should be the first thing you do to get max EXP for your units. Costs a few orbs though.
Of the starting heroes, Sharena is the best, hell, she was the first one I went out of my way to promote all the way to 5* plus max out. Add in the right inherited skills and she is a beast.
Holy shit Dancers are gonna be on every damn Arena team now.
Is that olivia different from the normal one?
Yeah, her weapon is a dagger and she has a great ability along with being able to dance. I would say she’s better than sword Livi just off that alone, but Dancers and ranged attackers usually have lower stats and she’s both so we’ll see.
Azura’s weapon is broke as shit though.
Yeah Olivia is already strong af, but I looked at the shit that Azura’s weapon does and it is baller as hell.
Seems like she would pair nicely with a lot of characters lol. Especially ones with low magic defense.
New Azura looks great, axe dancer whose weapon lets her buff? Yes.
Not putting myself through colourless hell for Olivia, sword version already needs Ruby Sword to be usefull and we only have 1 good dagger user now so not expecting much from that version.**
Only dissapointment is it feels like they could have had Tokyo Mirage Sessions Tiki on this banner as a singer.
Just when I started fading dancers out of my teams, they go and release much stronger ones. Now I gotta reconsider…
Maybe this is a sign they will release stronger healers too. Would be nice to have healer B skill that buffs an ally when you heal them too. That way they can fade out the balm specials too. Hoping to get olivia and a green dancer, then just call it quits.
IDK man, depending on stats Olivia could be the best dagger in the game.
Too bad Daggers are terrible right now.
