Having been there last night, and even though I think MBAA is bullshit [and doubly so for taking CvS2’s rightful spot at evo(yeah, I said it)], the finals for that was WAY more hype than the SF4 finals that were going on at the same time. People were yelling and screaming over in the corner while the SF4 crowd was going to sleep watching the big screen. Kind of sad, really.
EDIT: Overall, still an amazing tournament. Just sayin’.
Good shit to Jan/Vegita-X for getting top 8 in SF4 and DJKor/NeoX for getting top 5 in T6.

Being there was fun, just saying…and no you cannot buy my mask so fallback…a little rusty this year but its all good…props to all top ten placers…NC was representing in 3’s as expected…easily has the title of best 3’s players in the southeast…got tons of footage to edit so be on the look-out

JustinW, I’m not sure if you’ll see this, but me and Sinister X from SATX missed our flight on Friday so we weren’t able to get down to FR. Shout-outs to ALL of those that attended & partipated, this event couldn’t have happened without you. I had a ton of fun the whole weekend, consistently playing games in everything. I was looking forward to watching Melty Blood Top 8 on the big screen but I assume that they just did all the Finals on there since I saw it for a short amount of time. 3s, glad to see that there are people that still care about that game. If you live in GA or a Southern state & play, PM me, I’m looking to gather all of the 3s players in GA so we can get some games in. Tekken the whole weekend was HYPE as fuck, glad to see that Ricky placed 3rd in Singles against the Koreans. Watching all that Tekken made me want to get back into it, but I’ll need to go through hell to become at a decent level. SFIV was self-explanatory, too good, & the diversity of characters in Top 8, Zangief, Rufus, Balrog, Viper, Sagat, Abel, Ryu was nice. ATL, I’m ready to step my shit up, so if anyone from East Point is reading this, I want to head down there on one of my days off because I’ve heard so much but since I didn’t really know anyone, I was hesitant to see about going there, but now I’m ready to be put through the ringer so if you live at EP, please send me a PM so I can try to head down there this week while I have no work. Hopefully everyone had safe trips home & nothing too major happened which would interrupt the trip back home. GG’s everyone, see you all next year.
