Okay after an hour of playing the demo, here’s what I’ve noticed
-The dash in “follow up attacks” are quicker, which is nice IMO
-New stages that weren’t shown in the trailers such as the stage in FFIX where Zidane and his bros perform their plays
-Old characters get new attacks and some rebalancing? I think I’ve seen Cloud using a Brave version of his Cross Slash. Speaking of Cross Slash, I think it has longer range, but this needs further testing due to Cloud not being playable in the trailer and you can only play against him
-Not being able to use your EX attack due to EX Bursting is nice
-This may need some further testing but it looks like if you try to use your assist to Combo Break at all, it fails and you can’t use assist for a while.
-Lightning looks like she has some nice shit. Straightforward character, quick Brave attacks, 2 zoning Brave attacks and one of them, the attack where her Gunblade shoots bullets, looks like it can be used as a nice Oki tool.
-Cloud still easy as hell to parry against, stay free lol.

Also, Shantotto is ridiculous in the demo. Stun comes out just as fast or maybe a few frames faster than Zidane’s Swift Attack, Can chain into HP attacks (and probably BRV attacks), and blocking it does nothing to Shantotto so there’s little risk.
Prishe and Gilgamesh were announced and Aerith is an assist only character that you get from Dissidia Duodecim Prologus.
Stun doesn’t sound any different from regular Dissidia in your description with the exception of chaining into HP Attacks. Does it actually chain, or does it just give you time to launch one? Big difference.
Forgot to mention that it’s a premium demo, available for a couple hundred yen. Don’t matter enough to me though. I wouldn’t pay to keep Aeris alive in VII given the option, so I damn sure won’t pay to have her as an assist.
I haven’t been able to play the demo but from what I’ve heard over at Dissidia Forums, I think either Stun has no cooldown or the flinch from Stun lasts long enough for an HP attack to hit. It’s not an actual chain like WoL’s Shield Buckler -> Bitter End or Zidane’s Swift Attack -> Meo Twister
Either way, people reported that Shan can consistently land HP attacks after Stun which is something the Stun in the original game could not do.
Here’s all the new revealed altrenate costumes, I’m glad tifa still got her cowgirl costume :).
Open the program file, click it, and have it associate itself with whatever file types it wants to, then just double click the GMO you wish to view. They are in order they appeared in the source file. Presss F5 to see all the motions.
That is fantastic news! Finally I’ll have a reason to use Stun!
Also needs to be mentioned: Gilgamesh was found in the code of the demo. So for all you Gilga fans, rejoice!
oh cmon it was so obvious Tifa’s 3rd alt would be her cowgirl outfit. Don’t act like it wasn’t obvious and Gilgamesh was at the end of that trailer so he was already announced. also yeah Dissidia Duodecim Prologus will have a story that isn’t going to be in the game, like Dead Rising Case Zero.
