what level should i attempt that shade mode?
and should i be buying my weapons/armor or finding it in chests?

I went into impulse at like 60, just buy/make your armor/weapons, they don’t really matter until the duel collusium… I <3 My lvl 100 Terra
Shade mode pretty much starts at around level 10-15 something so you can start at it directly after finishing your characters first story.
Weapons armor buy whatever you can use in stores and if you find something better in a chest use that.
Later you will need to trade for better gear in store or get it trough other ways like the Duel Colosseum.

Picked up the game today and having fun with it. Played Cloud and Squalls story so far.
seems like the CPU or just Exdeath are stupid to paladin force
i kept doing it and mashed square to do it immediately as they got up
took a while, but a level 36 took out 96 Exdeath with one move… over and over
wouldnt work all the time, but enough to get me to 82 lol
Yeah, it’s pretty easy to level up once you know how. The only real problem is AP training, which I guess I found a way over, but I had to get my shit hacked to get all the items…
game is pretty damn fun. main char is sephiroth but tryin to beat iit with cloud.gona do that exdeath trick to lvl cloud up bc i cant beat chaos at lvl 58 lol. what moves should i keep spamin on exdeath? with cloud.and damn man white knight cicel and the guy from ff2 looks to cool.makes me want to play there game. hope they make a action figure like the ffac ones. ill def buy those
i think in the back of the instruction book it shows the action figures

I"m starting to hate this stupid level 23 fakeass blue clone of Seph on the 2nd playthru with Cloud, trying to get 100% with him in Story Mode. Doing my best to dodge/block his attacks but the way he gains bravery is triple the amount of what I’m getting. Any suggestions?

Man, no kidding. Sephiroth is always serious business. I’m just going to go grind out battles with a lvl 100 ExDeath and then make him mah beech. :smokin:
:shake::sad: When I try to play run away with him, the fucker hits me a huge meteor. If his brave is high that he can one-shot me, he uses heaven’s light or hell’s gate which = :wasted:.

All you need for this game is to be smart. You don’t even need good execution, just three fingers on both hands.
This. Unless you’re Jecht. He has actual combos. Not just branching HP attacks. Real brave to HP combos.
They’re not hard at all, though.
Blocking is very, very important in this game.
