That they have different preferences than I do is fine. That they have this overwhelming opinion based on very little credible reasoning is what makes me mad. I won’t get into the FF6 vs. other FFs thing here but in every debate I’ve seen, one side argues with logic and reason, and the other tends to measure worth in units of “awesome.” Let’s leave it at that.
EEN DEESEEDEE-UH, TODOS AS PESSOAS EEZ FLY
Which is not really any different than Cyclops “superjumping.” Game looks very promising. I’m not expecting a deep metagame but I am expecting a fun playthrough or three.
Apparently lifestream is solid enough to be run on.
Same here…I was like ‘WOOOOOWWW…’ as Cloud’s health bar was draining. That shit is ridiculous. But you knew the way that match was going to end was enevitable…regardless of how bad ass or how great Seph is…He’s always going to lose that match lol. I can just hear him crying now…
Seph: AGAIN?..Jesus Christ man! Can the writers cut me some slack!?
Edit:
I knew it did some damage but I didn’t know it did THAT much damage. If Super Nova does damage like that all the time and Seph can combo into it like that…I think I can hear the Smash ban flags going up lol.
You know…I get reeeeally tired of some of the stupid distinctions of ‘what is a fighting game’ ya know?
For me…If it’s at least 2 people squared off in an area and they’re beating the shit out of each other (with at least 2 human players able to take control of opposing sides) regardless of HOW it’s done…it’s a fighting game. It may not be done well and it may not be done in the way how YOU like it but it’s still a fighting game none the less.
‘At the end of this day…One shall stand…One shall fall’
I’m hoping the FFVI characters end up top teir… Yeah that’s my Bias talking. Was going to import this but don’t have the cash until after the hollidays
The entire premise of the game is one-vs.-one dueling. The objective is to drain your opponent’s health before he drains yours.
I was going to make a huge list of games that follow this idea, and ensure that every single Capcom fighter was on that list, but I’m lazy, so I’ll just say:
That’s unfortunately not that surprising since Final Fantasy X was the first game in the series to get a sequel, even before FFSephiroth. Fanservice > professionalism, though I hope the bias won’t be as egregious as I feel to be in Brawl at times. (Although that’s an entirely different discussion.)
Besides, he’s Meg Ryan: he has guardian angels watching over him as long as he doesn’t run into a truck while on a bicycle.
