Terra… I really wish she was a hybrid sword/mage type. But I’ll give her a go. Based on those descriptions above I really want to try Tidus and Jecht too, as well as both FF1 and FF2 characters.
Dude…awesome find Ultima, it’s times like these I need to get premium so I could rep you. Reading the above statements, it’s obvious I’ll main Sephiroth (coincidence:wgrin:), and the other two whom have my interest are Squall and Cecil, I really find the Dark Knight on ground and Paladin in Air interesting.
On Sephiroth’s Super Nova is there a certain peak point when it comes to tapping the O button, or is there really no limit for it, allowing a greater deal of potential damage. Dissidia is getting more interesting with the news release, gotta love the character individuality in here.
Now I may be sounding abit fanboyish…but I swear, FF character designs are some of (if not) the best character designs ever. And with people like Nomura and Amano, as overblown as my statement may sound, it’s probably obvious.
Anyway, being an FFIX fan it’s Zidane and Kuja for me; though all the characters sound so interesting it’s gonna be hard to pick a main.

the fact they have their character skechs like this one on the left http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/2441/dissidianov18scan1fg1.jpg shows that they aren’t just trying to create a flashy and simple look and feel to the characters, that picture alone is breaking boundaries of what “games” are today
and on the evil picture it shows sephiroth in the center of chaos, with a progression of characters underneath, after sephiroth it’s Golbeza then finally Garland. it’s like a progression that sephiroth would take, Garland used to be a famous knight like sephiroth, in a scene in dissidia sephiroth speaks to him about him leaving the “good” side
I for one like the way Terra is portrayed. As I said earlier, I never imagined her to be a “tough” sort of girl. It’s just not her personality. She always came off to me as a person who seems relatively normal, just happens to not be.
And I’m really glad Terra’s not anything at all like Cammy. If she was, I’d hate her as much as I hate Cammy.
i said years ago that there needs to be an FF vs capcom, and make sure the capcom characters get an RPG look to them, i am SO sick of Ryu’s fucking karate GI
