That’s kinda reaching isn’t it? We’re not sure what that means yet.
To his credit, he does send his Heralds to warn the planets he’s going to visit so they can flee.
You are mistaken.
You are thinking of Abraxas. Galactus is necessary to keep Abraxas at bay. Even so, Abraxas is actually more Powerfull, he could destroy the whole universe after all.
If you wanted someone stronger, just pick from any of the so called “Abstract Concepts,” like Death, Oblivion (who’s the big bad of the current cosmic stories), etc.

What do you mean “might,” he was pretty much reborn at the end of the mini-series.
That said, I’d be happy with anyone just as long as they were a cosmic villain. Seriously, the shit that Nova, the Guardians, etc. have to face make the problems on Earth seem like childsplay.
in my opinion, the biggest of the bad in Marvel would be TOAA, Living Tribunal, anything using the Infinite Gauntlet (pretty sure that could be #2), Pheonix Force, and then Death. Galactus is definitely top 10 though.
Seeing as the final boss has been stated by MARVEL to be something fans will like, it is guaranteed to either be Galactus or some sort of Galactus Hybrid.
Lol, I love the Idea of Justin Wong as the End Boss, that would be the greatest.
They could literally just incorporate all of the crazy madness that Wong has actually done within MvC2 and roll it all up into a character that looked exactly like him and possibly give him a cape and he would be the most overpowered Final Boss we would have ever seen within a Marvel vs Game. I could imagine Final Boss Wong doing a 1-Pixel Comeback against players, that would be the
Much respect to wong, but for fighting game fans you guys give him a bit too much credit, even if it’s a joke. Personally IF it was gonna be like that, I think the honor would go to Daigo since Justin has yet to win a major tournament againts him. Hehe.
In any case I agree that Galactus seems to fit just fine, the story in this game is non Canon so they can go as crazy as they want. Personally there should be two major bosses but I can’t think of anyone of Galactus level that would be a threat to the Marvel side. I don’t play a lot of capcom games other than fighters
poor choice of words by me…biggest of the bad = most powerful beings
meant to say biggest of the badasses originally. They’re all neutral at the top, pretty much giving in to ‘only the strongest survive’, hence why LT didnt get involved much during the Infinity Wars, when Thanos had the Infinity Gauntlet, and why Death was scared of him.
It would take a really weird storyline to explain how piddly characters could even attempt to take on a Celestial.
Mephisto is another decent possibility for a boss.
personally, I say fuck one boss at the end. Make arcade mode awesome, and give me SEVERAL
Not hatin’ or anything. I like Q but he would definitely be low tier (didn’t wanna say suck) in a Versus game like Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Just like how Balrog would be. They wouldn’t put characters like those in the game. Guile and Charlie worked because they were sped up and their plasma-based moves (ex: Sonic Hurricane and Flash Kick) were over-exaggerated which made it work nicely.
Based on how they’re referring to the complexity of the storyline, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were a good few bosses–and possibly different ones based on who your character is.
I was hoping C. Viper would make it into Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars but since she missed her chance, I think she would totally belong in Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Out of all the characters in Street Fighter IV, Viper would be the perfect choice. As for a boss character, no.
Since when did daigo start playing marvel…
Justin’s been the king for as long as I can remember.
And I really would like to see some type of cross-over based villain like the Sigma/Galactus mentioned earlier…have a capcom villain steal the inf. gauntlet or some shit…something that actually would stand for the fate of the 2 worlds. A combined boss made of both a marvel & capcom big bad.
