Assuming Dormypie isn’t it. Abraxas would be perfect. Since Capcom characters don’t know about Galactus, look at it this way… Galactus stumbles into… Capcom…land… sees a planet and decides to gobble it up. So then Felicia comes along and kills him, releasing Abraxas and setting up the “Fate of Two Worlds”
Except Galactus doesn’t dimension hop willy nilly. Someone has to lure him there.
Either way, i doubt it’s Abraxas. If anything, it might be one of the more recent Big Bads if it’s not Dormammu.

Doubt it and they are probably going with Loki in the Avengers movie anyway. Besides, if they go with an Crazy Avenger, it will probably be Sentry, especially since he could do the “3 form boss” thing.
Doom contracted a stupid virus by absorbing pure energy… So they could make that work.

Besides, the Sigma’s virus affects reploids/robots, which Galactus isn’t. You could have someone try to steal his power though.
Point being that Marvel has no problem with nonsensical virus contraction.
Yeah I definitely wasn’t thinking when I said Galactus but I’m sure there is something they could figure out. Master Mold? He was a super computer, they could make it work.

Okay, im among the ones who think that Niitsuma really meant to say that Dormammu is the final boss, and i also happen to like that idea very much, as it makes lots of sense, and was kinda disappointed when it didn’t seem that way. For the sake of argument though:
Probably not gonna be Wanda. Though i wouldn’t mind seeing her in the game, the whole “Children’s Crusade” thing going on right now at Marvel is all about redeeming her from the hole Bendis dug for her. Marvel is not going to undermine its own efforts. Maybe as a playable character though. It would be cool.
The Galactus thing is a terrible idea and people should stop pretending he’s the only baddie in the Marvel Universe. He’s not even a villain at this point.
The Beyonder is by far the character that made the most sense the first time around. He makes helluva lot of sense now too. Since apparently Marvel is more involved this time i sincerely doubt the idea hasn’t crossed their minds. It also lends itself quite easily into the “Marvel/Capcom combined villain” idea by having been stripped of his powers in the past already by Dr. Doom. In a storyline from the 80’s, mind you, but a storyline that has everything to do with a fighting game and crossovers. Just wiki “Secret Wars” if you’re not into comics.
EDIT: I’d also like to see an unused element from the Megaman X universe. Sigma would be cool. Vile would be awesome.
Master Mold hasn’t been used in years. Ultron could work though, he’d be better of with the phanlax.

it’s a bit disappointing if it’s Dormammu… quite lazy to be honest. Don’t Capcom get to make a boss too?? Would love to face Shin Akuma as he is always a challenge!!

Considering how powerful he is, it makes perfect sense and not lazy at all( Especially since he would transform for the Boss battle). Anyway, i don’t think we’ll see Shin Akuma this time.

You think the last fight in the game is going to be your team of three dudes against just Dormammu? He’s not like Onslaught or Abyss or Yami. He’s just a regular ass playable character. Either he isn’t the final boss, or he has two more final boss characters fighting with him.
