I’m pleased to hear that it’s a real character, and not some last minute throwaway boss like Abyss from Marvel 2.
My guess is Shuma-Gorath. He is familiar, he hasn’t been announced as a playable character, and his original appearance in Dr. Doom’s comic had him as a giant monster, not unlike Onslaught. My money’s on him.
Of course the guy who posted the SS was also a random poster who didn’t bother to give a source or name the magazine. It’s pretty easy to say it’s fake even without the image.

Eh, Red Skull would likely betray Wily and pilot the thing himself. That, or have Skull use the Cosmic Cube.

Marvel: At this point, Galactus certainly makes the most sense.
Capcom: Everyone thinks Wesker, but wouldn’t it make more sense to make Nemesis the Capcom boss? That’s my two bob, anyway.
Nemesis and Tyrant got deconfirmed a while ago due to rating issues.
I think its Galactus.
Now having a boss from both sides isnt really like mvc, with the excpetion of cyber akuma in marvel vs street fighter. A boss from both companies is more a capcom vs snk thing plus there really arent any capcom bosses that are fit compared to a marvel boss like onsluaght in mvc or possible candiate galactus.
Wesker was pretty bad ass when he transforms into his monster form. Especially when he starts whipping his arm around and generating that crazy energy around him. Add in the speed of light stuff and he would have some solid stuff for a fighting game. My two cents at anyway.

He even shows up in the trailer.
Its definitly not dorammau, just cuz a character gives off an intense evil aura doesnt make him a boss not to mention the fact he aint even giant, plus bosses are usually the last characters to be announced. It just wouldnt make sense to reveal the boss this early in devoplment. PLus he aint even big, like the previous mvc bosses(with the exception of cyber akuma). He’s gonna be a playable character, heck just look at that t-shirt were Dorammau was fighting Viewtful Joe, obviously he wasnt big in the pic, plus it just wouldnt make sense making a bigger version of him. My money is on Galactus, he’s big, consumes planets he fits the slot perfectly.
Can I ask how you know it’s “definitly not” him? Seems odd to portray him in the trailer the way they did if he wasn’t a major villain within the storyline. Everyone stopping what they’re doing to watch a big, over the top villainous entrance is a pretty common trope to introduce the big bad.
Funnily enough, Dormammu can change his size.
Galactus would be the lamest copout ever though.

its dormammu with two other people, hence why hes small. Also, the mention of “an SF villain” makes me thing seth might make an appearance since hes the most recent SF ENDGAME villain. for the 3rd slot, idk, it could be wesker/galactus(sentinel-sized?)/sentry-void(IREALLYHOPETHISONE)
If a person joins the forum with a screenname that depicts prejudice over a fighting game character, then you know they’re aren’t worth the response.

JUst becuz a character looks like a major villian doesnt automatically make him the final boss. Plus boss characters are ususally the last character to be announced so why reveal a boss character so early? Will Dorammau play a major part story wise, most likely, but final boss? no way. And if he is at least we know he’s going to be playable(he was normal sized in the trailer).
Now for those speculating Seth being in this game, there is a reallly,really,really small chance of that happening, he’s lame and all he did was copy the SF’ers moves, (wow how original). 90 percent its M.Bison. He’s an established SF villian especially in the SF II series and street fighter alpha 3, he’s appeared in the previous vs games as well as other games like namco x capcom.
I think M.Bison and Wesker are going to be in, the writer did hint a villian from Street Fighter and Resident evil.
