Are there any resources for learning this game? No training mode is kind of a bummer, but the game is fun as hell so I’m willing to learn it without.

I think the people I tested online where in North America, but haven’t tested overseas, EU and south american connections yet. SNKP should have hired those people to do their online and lobbies. This netcode even rivals Arcana Heart 3 so far (and there’s no laggy introduction either). There might be lag spikes depending on things, but I haven’t noticed any while playing online. There were like 3 people I met with “bad” connection symbol, but after a match, their connection symbol changed to something better. The latency was fine playing them. but yea can’t really say until playing Japan and other region players. 
I really like the open lobby format, it gives players searching enough seconds to find the room and jump in, but doesn’t just sit idle thanks to the lobby timer. and it can be paused, plus invites are easy to do. the spectating is silky smooth and fullscreen too.
I want Pepsiman, dammit.
But Bahn (aka EZ-mode Akira) will suffice.
Um, wtf is up with Sega and this 60sec game trial? Give me three matches with limited character roster. How the FUCK can I figure out if I want a fighting game if I only get 60 second bite sized chunks.
BTW, I used to play Fighting Vipers so I do know what’s up with that one. But Sonic? I’m not going to get that shit in 60 secs.

Loved playing Sonic the Fighters on the Gems collection as a kid,
so I’ll be getting that too.
FV definitely interests me the most out of this 3-pack that was released today because it seems like too much of an anomaly to be as outdated as something like VF2. Can’t think of any other 3D fighters that have the same kind of embellishments, particularly this kind of air recovery.
Bahn gives me both Akira Yuki and Terry Bogard vibes.

also OP: play with L2/LT/R2/RT to find your obnoxious lobby music (since the netcode and I assume core of the ui wrapper altogether was lifted from final showdown)
Oh yea good thing the lobby music is optional. The netcode is so great, have yet to encounter a match that’s too laggy, and I think I played 2 Japanese players earlier. no issues at all. LOL it’s still funny seeing opponents bounce and launch over the horizon in the final boss stage. xD (yea smashing them through the glass elevator stage is funny too).
What console are you guys on? I love old 3D fighters.
I’m on Xbox 360 and wondering where the hell everyone is. I was able to find plenty of people for Sonic the Fighters over the weekend, but want to get in some Fighting Vipers and VF2 play and can’t find anyone. Wonder why…
