Its always good to see fighting games on TV, and I’ll always try and catch them if I can, unfortunately that is very few and far between nowadays, but I managed to find a few classics as well as some new stuff. Enjoy.

good thread. I must have seen every single episode of bad influence and gamesmaster when I was a kid :sweat: sucks that their aren’t any good VG shows on TV anymore.

I remember Japan doing that special on the A3 World Tourney where Daigo faced off against Alex Valle at Golfland. It’s somewhere on Youtube; I just don’t feel like searching for it.

It was a pretty dope special because it was basically Japan and U.S.A. duking it out for top spot in A3. Of course, Japan won and that’s when the world found out about Daigo.

^^Yes ive seen that vid, it was pretty cool, I remember it seemed like Daigo let Valle have his way and then he pressed super turbo button and started to kick Valle’s ass.

Ah I too remember bad influence and gamesmaster what great shows everything after that was pants.

Gamesmaster was awesome I still remember the 1st episode, I wonder how much a golden joystick is worth now.

Do you guys remember the episode with the VF player from japan? lol that was funny all you heard was KO KO KO, lol everyone getting beat down.

I used to luv it when people went to the gamesmaster for cheats and he would call them scrubs or something lol.

He was much better than that guy in the shed in bad influence, lol chav in you’re shed with cheats what the hell lol.

ah how gamming has changed, its probably the kid in me, but things seemed more fun back then.

Also In the movie Killzone featuring Donnie Yen, he was playing some KOF game against someone that made retarded with a single punch. Donnie Yen lost the match in KOF though lol.

I am not sure if MLG is having any more fighting games on their bill but i know that they are showing this season on G4. Matter of fact one is coming on tonight at 11pm eastern. I’ll give it a look.

The snk and history of fighting games were awesome.

No offense but the guys who played kiyasao at Tetsujin part 1 sucked

I probably check it out tonight. I hope at least their will be one or two fighting games at MLG:sad:

Yeh in tetsujin, alot of the players were just kids pulled in off the street, but there were also some very good players there too. Some of them are still around and very involved in the fighting game scene in the UK.

Watched a film the other day and this Chinese guy was playing SFEX, also just caught a bit of ER there and the guy was playing SF2CE as Sagat. Tiger! Tiger! Tiger! Tiger! Tiger Uppercut!
