simple question: Why can’t they put any previouse games like street fighter alpha 3 max or King of Fighters series, or even Guilty Gear XX Reloaded to the DS? Dust Strikers is just a spoof of Super Smash Bros series. Come to think, that would be better for the DS as well. I aslo checked that Naruto Clash of Ninja is coming to the DS. What you guys think?
The novice champ was here!!
Fighting Games on the DS:
-Bleach DS: Souten ni Kakeru Unmei (JPN)
-Bleach DS 2nd: Kokui Hirameku Requiem (JPN)
-Custom Beat Battle Draglade (JPN)*
-Dragon Ball Z: Super Sonic Warriors 2
-Guilty Gear Dust Strikers
-Jump Super Stars (JPN)
-Jump Ultimate Stars (JPN)
-Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects
-Mortal Kombat DS*
-Naruto: Shinobi Retsuden (JPN)
Its a list of fighting games(not sure if I found all though) I made in another forum so I hope that helps you out man.
Yeah, thanks. But I was hoping for Street fighter game would be made for the DS. shruggs Hmm…
You could just put Street Fighter Alpha 3 into the Game Boy slot on your DS. Or play Bleach DS, the first one is great. Havn’t played part 2 yet.
im playing JUS right now… how is the bleach game i might buy it
The Bleach game is really fun, big roster of characters to choose from though a couple are broken as hell. The name slips my mind but one characters has projectiles for his jabs and shorts and you can beat the game barely trying with him.
Bleach DS 2nd and Jump Ultimate Stars are worth the money, imho.
DBZ and Naruto if you’re a fanboy. Steer clear of the Guilty Gear game.
I was about to start one of these threads, I always thought the DS had a good setup for a SF or SNK game. I have Jump Superstars and mean to pick Bleach up, though the american dub makes me vomit.
I’d love to see JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure on the DS with (maybe) some kind of touch screen interaction. That would be orgasmic.
But yes, Bleach DS 2nd and Jump Ultimate Stars are very awesome. Dimps’ Draglade will be coming out in a month or so. Looks pretty cool.
I actually enjoy Guilty Gear Dust Strikers. It’s the only Guilty Gear I have for travel and I find it fun. It’s no Slash (or accent core) but it’s all we have.
Pretty nice list, ShinRekka, just one thing…Draglade ain’t out yet. It won’t be until next month.
It was supposed to be a March release, but that was before it got delayed to the May 17th date now.
I need a game that can do light to hard punch/kick buttons instead of two buttons that do light to special attacks. I’m sorry, it’s just me.
^I agree. The DS is the first nintendo hendheld to actually have 6 buttons available. It would be nice to see them make use of that and have some more traditional style fighters on it as well.
The games mentioned above are nice, but there’s plenty of those on DS and they’re not exactly the type that got me into fighting games. This is probably the only reason I envy the PSP’s library of fighting games.
That’s the only thing I envy from the PSP, period.
Heh, only those componies capcom and snk playmore who made those fighting games could hear our voice like this…
like this… :annoy: !@#$#@!$#@$#!$#@$@!#$#@$#!$#@!$#@$!$#@$#@!$#@$#@!$#@$#@!$#@!$#@!$#@$#@!$#@!$#$#@$#@!$#@!$#@!$#@$#@!$#@$#!@$#@!$@#$! :looney: Whoa…
LOL well you get the idea…
And what about the wifi feature? Yeah, that’ll be a great hit!!! :wgrin:
I personally suggest the following:
Jump! Ultimate Stars
Dragon Ball Z: Super Sonic Warriors 2
The GG game on the DS is horrible, what with the fighting and jumping on platforms. The Marvel game is crap, too. The other games on the list are great as well, though I haven’t played the Naruto game yet, and those two that weren’t released.
wheres my arcade perfect mvc2 on ds with touch screen support???
