Rise of the Robots was atrocious.
Special mention to Tattoo Assassins, which was unreleased, and to 3DO’s Way of the Warrior.

For me personally, I didn’t care for MvC2. I know SRK loves it, but I just thought it was a waste how you have so many fun characters that cannot be played vs Storm, Sentinel, Magneto. I think ppl like the brokenness of it, but I don;'t know.
Also, any MK that was released after UMK3, but not the latest MK.
EDIT: Oh yes, and Super Street Fighter 2, for undoing the wonder that was SF2 Turbo.
AD&D: Iron and Blood for the PS1. If you were at UFGT7 and saw it in the Mystery Tournament, you’d know why.
Shoutouts to Street Fighter: The Movie for the Saturn.
I have it. My main is Ryu.
All the worst fighting games never had scenes, like all the garbage ass MK rip offs from the 90’s. Some game with a design choice you don’t agree with doesn’t really compare with games with bad hit box detection, controls, etc. Games like that are truly unplayable.
Final Fight Revenge. It wasn’t even supposed to be a fighting game when it started being produced. That should tell you all you need to know. Wow, the opinion is really strong in this thread. Apparently"I don’t like it" = pure shit.
And I played that old Yu Yu Hakusho game. Final Fight Revenge was one million times worse.
Yeah, I actually took the under on number of posts before people thought they were clever by using this thread to take potshots at current games they don’t like.
Shaq-fu. Any answer that’s not Shaq-fu is wrong. At least those games are playable.
Then again, Bikini babes might be tied for worst.
Tattoo Assassins. The game was so bad, the developing team ragequit on it before it was released.
I remember thinking that the first Virtua Fighter was awful when I first saw it. You’d spend 50 cents, not as much depth compared to the competition, and you could get bodied in a few seconds by Lau’s P,P,P,P.K combo. But that’s nothing compared to what you guys have posted.
I guess I was lucky enough to not have the “honor” in playing some of these games.
Strip Fighter II
Yes, I’ve actually played it. Yes, it’s amazingly terrible. End Thread.
oh god i forgot about rise of the robots, has anyone played the sequel is it anywhere near as bad as the first?
Tongue of the Fat Man/Mondu’s Fight Palace/Slaughter Sport.
The game is so bad that it goes by different names in every territory to escape its own notoriety.
Yu-Yu Hakasho Dark Tournament. A friend of mine foolishly brought that game from a recommendation from a friend of ours who had a terrible taste in games. We fans of the series we couldn’t enjoy the game at all.
For me I’m going with Double Dragon V for the SNES. It was such a huge disappointment for me as a Double Dragon. First of all it was based on the god awful cartoon, the gameplay was completely braindead. All needed to do was rush my opponents with jabs and the win was guaranteed. Not fun at all. I heard some awful things about the Double Dragon Neo Geo fighter based on the movie but I never had the displeasure of playing it. Can’t imagine being worse than DDV.
The NeoGeo one is fun, but I don’t know how deep it really is as I only fucked around with it with my ex on FBAxxx. I actually liked DDV, but that’s because I got it with my SNES so it was like the 3rd fighting game I’d ever owned (after Gameboy Killer Instinct and Megadrive Mortal Kombat 1).
One thing that was cool was how if you used a certain attack to kill someone (I think?) it would result in a special death animation, almost like a fatality.
Ballz is definitely scraping the bottom of the FG barrel, as highlighted in this incredible footage of Ronnie Coleman locking horns with Ronald McDonald…

For added hilarity, check out the suspiciously homoerotic messages displayed in the background:
“Administer Smackies”
“Open Wide For Chunky…”
“Head-Ballz!”
Marvel 3 is trash.
That game was absolutely terrible. I remember seeing it on a very old UK TV show called Bad Influence and it looked awesome. It played like an absolute bag of shit. I think I had more fun packing it back in the oversized cardboard box than I did playing it. Worst fighting game I ever played.
I totally forgot about the 32-bit era duds. I think Zero Divide, Golden Axe:The Duel, and Iron&Blood are among the worst.
Not even going to give KoF a chance?
