Dropping The Soap
I’m okay with most fighting game lingo, but this one I can’t stand - mainly because I’ve seen so many cases of the person ‘dropping the soap’ only to leave the enemy in such an awkward position that they still end up winning the match.
Maybe it’s just me, but I’d only consider it ‘dropping the soap’ if it gets them fucked - which means it’s best not to refer to it as dropping the soap until the match is over. Until then, just call it a dropped combo.

Actually, if a lot of people do use it wrong, then it will change its definition. Just look at the word ‘scrub’ and how it seems to change with every new numbered entry of Street Fighter.

Vortex, by nature is a dumb concept… True story. Dudes never played some GG or Crack to know what a Vortex is… When people started calling AKuma’s mixup a “vortex”… I facepalmed.
